I think that is the right way to do the numbering, from 1 to 2000. The continuation reflects the actual and limited number in steelbook production only, regardless which kinds of slip dressed.

For UP, 2D slip only 500 and 3D slip is 1500. First 500 of 3D slip will be housed in the boxset.

as we are just talking about numbering, a collector got this odd number and it could be rare. :hilarious:

Isn't it the other way round for Up ? 3D is 1-500 and 2D 501-2000. My 2D slip is 1988/2000 (see post 1625)

I had it in my head that there were 1000 of each

So 1000 x 2D and 1000 x 3D = 2000 in total

500 of those 3D have been allocated for the box set though, so if you want to get 3D on it's own then there are only 500 opportunities to do so by not buying the box set

Ahhh, ok. Cheers

I have a 3D slip coming, and really want a box as well

That was an initial plan. Due to a overwhelming demand for 3D slip, the number is changed to 1 to 500 3D slip in the boxset, 501 to 1500 3D slip singles, 1501 to 2000 2D slip singles.

Hi Steve, could you explain to me what do you mean by DISHONEST!?
have you seen a Blufans release is numbered 2001 out of 2000? then you can call that!

Reading that back does sound like I was implying some dishonesty on blufans part. I certainly wasn't doing that. It was just a badly worded way of saying I don't see why they use the continuous numbering approach. It was 2:00am, not the best time to be replying to posts. :D

^ I took that the right way the first time. It's a common expression focusing on the speaker sincerely not knowing why they did something. No offense taken here, Stephen.

I can't wait to hear more about that Box set. How much do you think it will be, guys?

I think we can expect a price of around $100 maybe more if we compare it to the trilogy "The Godfather" (Blufans).

After comes into account several factors, is that it is a box made of plastic :ohno: , wood, cardboard ....

(In my opinion this will be a cardboard box)

wait and see

Got mine today. Looks very nice indeed - can't wait to show the wife later. This film makes her well up within about a minute, she can barely even watch a trailer for it.

So this may well be "one for the shelf" rather than one to watch, ha ha!
