Zavvi is going to either reprint the whole print again or not. They wont be able to do 1k or 1.5k because even though i like to think people wouldnt do this... people would lie and say they have a damaged one just so they clan flog it. It seems there it is affecting a lot of people, but i really dont see zavvi reprinting the run. Shame. There will be very few 100% mint copies

The thing is, this is not WEA, with Spain and a few other countries using their own language JCard. This is not a manufacturing defect.

ES Jack Reacher - obvious manufacturing fault, so they are recalled and replaced.

Zavvi- caused damage to thir own stock through ignorance and negligence. We will get offered a full refund and it's sent back, or a partial refund. Nothing more than that.

I imagine overseas Ninjas may get offered up to a 50% refund to keep the steel, or will be told they can keep it and get a refund anyway.(due to costs of return)

As much as we are told they listen, Zavvi do not care and they will pull the same old crap every now and then because they can. Whilst they sell stock from their countless releases, they will happily take the hit with things like this.

This is a company that has a message service for complaints. Very 2014. As long as the Zavvi bosses look at the spreadsheets and see profit, why should they care. Stop buying the steels, ignore the flash sales to butter us up and they may take note.

However, not going to happen and I think their attitude to business shows that.

Had over £300 in pre orders with them, cancelled all except one. Time to take my business elsewhere.

Here's what Zavvi should do. Reprint a small amount 500 copies make them extra limited!

And whilst they're at it they should recrop the front image to fit inside the border!

They can't reprint as it was advertised as 2500. It'll be full or partial refunds.

Seems I was lucky to get an undamaged one

ES told us the print run and then printed more. Im not saying they are going to but it is an option they could take. Unlikely though

I'm not going to disagree with you however it's more likely keep = partial refund, and return = full refund.

Hopefully most people will refuse partial refunds and send them back for full refunds. If Zavvi has to do a full refund, cover return shipping costs, and scrap the item for hundreds of purchases they might actually be forced to have internal discussions about fixing some of these bad habits.

Can you get a partial refund for the stretching it's like white scratches on the bottom?? Should I contact Zavvi?

I think you should. Scanavo say it is a manufacturing issue but that doesn't mean it is acceptable. I would always contact a retailer for minor defects whether they are to blame or not. It's the only way to make a retailer and in turn Scanavo to take action.

Mine also arrived in a envelope and has scratches on the front and back, has a few paint chips on the back and an annoying dent on the back. Well done zavvi, top marks!

Ugh my copy only shipped Friday so i'm expecting it tomorrow... but I am dreading it now. So many damaged steels... especially as so far, all my Zavvi steels have arrived in their usual white box. I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed this arrives OK!

Big difference though. IT was a manufacturing problem not an IGNORANCE problem. Zavvi F**ked up plain and simple.

I think the funniest thing about this whole ordeal are the ones who sold them as pre-orders and are now going to have to either send out dented steels, pay higher prices on ebay, or cancel . :hilarious:
