All this Zavvi and BF's bullsiht is boring and it's been going for ages! Why can't people agree to disagree for once. If you own the Zavvi version and you like it or have the BF's version and like it then great! If you have both and don't like the other one then sell it And move on. This is a thread just for the Zavvi steelbook. Not a comparison thread or zavvi are sh*t so let's rubbish their steelbook again thread! Can we not all just get along for once. This site seems to be constant moaning at the moment! It used to be a lot happier place!

I find it quite amazing that you have such strong likes and dislikes of things you have not held in your hands.

you dont have to go to an art gallery to see something 'in the flesh' to know if you like it or not. how many people have actually seen 'the scream' painting?

whether or not they have actually physically been stood in front of it doesnt render their opinion void.

I would say you do to fully understand and appreciate something or what would be the point of museums and galleries.
BTW that painting conveys my reaction to the Blufans version!!

That painting is worth $119,922,500,.. but I like Zavvi's Wall-E artwork better:whistle:

Mine was dispatched on the 20th and still nothing! I got Big Hero 6 today and that was dispatched on 22nd :(

Really hope this comes as it's now Sold Out...

Is anybody else awaiting dispatch still for this? I'm not sure whether to be sending Zavvi a message yet about it or wait another day or two

I too am awaiting dispatch. What makes me more annoyed is that they charged me for it two months ago when they sent me the S****box

Comparing the various Wall-E steelbooks is like comparing the FS and Play versions of Iron Man (when those were the only 2 available).

For me, I hate blue banners so Play's IM was my preferred steelbook. That said, the colour of the FS version was richer. However, the FS version also had a wider border so less image on the front compared to the Play version. While I still much prefer the Play version over the FS one, there's no denying now that some of the later versions are far superior to both.

The problem at the time though, was you couldn't say you preferred the Play version without someone accusing you of jealousy because you 'clearly' didn't own the FS edition and wanted to. In my case that simply wasn't true, but whatever.

All of the Wall-E editions will have their fans and while I haven't yet got any of them in hand, based on my general preferences I suspect I'd like Zavvi's version the most. The colours look strong, the embossing will be good (hopefully) and it's got a nice glossy finish. It'll also match all the other Zavvi Disney/Pixar steelbooks (except Monsters University) and as I have a set of those, that's important to me.

I never buy to resell, just to keep on my shelves so I'm only ever interested in the edition which I want to see (the spine of mainly) on the shelf. Also, and call me lazy and cheap, but I'll also usually order whichever steelbook is the easiest to get and costs me the least.

I don't know what's worse, the fact it could come with a spine slash or the fact it looks nothing like Courtney Cox or David Arquette.
