Man this sucks guess this will be the first fac I want that I'll more than Likly miss out on due to the new system needing payment well in advance. Like ones say I understand the less work for Carl and Martin but to just jump in and require the whole payment just a matter of hours after the title got an update is crazy. And I am sure Carl never paid for the gb copies this far in advance either just like the Jurassic park trilogy we had close to 6 weeks before payments needed to be. Hopefully @carllenc @Collector03601 might hunk about starting with a small deposit this far in advance of the releases first. 2500czk gonna take me a little while to come up with exspecially with all my other purchases and shipping payments and to miss out on my collectable number which I'll prob lose soon because of this really does suck.

These aren't flying off the shelves - so there might be some time yet to get your copy. I would also consider that they might have the ability to have a longer pre-order process if the copies reserved are not as many as they think there should be.

I'll refund your Finding Dory payment then shall I? ;)

Of course mate, if that gives you inner peace and solace.

$63 is what we pay for Blufans Lenticular Steels, so I was fine with using the new payment system.

However with FAC, I would be nervous in paying in advance.

@Actarus,

Regarding your quote about people not complaining about paying in advance for Manta Kingsman and the release being pushed back by 3 weeks, of course I was the first to complain as I got 0 sympathy towards any retailer. Having said that, we at least had the option to email Manta and request a refund which is not that easy with FAC GBs as the Terms and Conditions clearly states once signed up, no backing out. So in that context, it makes a big difference w.r. to paying way too upfront via the new payment system.

I keep hearing money is being invested to improve the site but the site has gone backwards by removing Tapatalk support which was very useful and ideal for mobile phone users. Wreck said Tapatalk support will be resumed like 6 months ago but it hasn't happened yet.

GB for Creed will be opened in the new GB system.

One of the conditions to secure copies for HDN group buy is securing them before pre-orders on FilmArena starts, hence the group buy has to be opened early.

Thanks to all for your understanding.

PS: If there will be long delays like with the box editions we either wont open the group buy or if opened we will give options to cancel.

Martin clearly states in the above post, that you can get your funds back if long delays occur. :)

We're currently working on our own native mobile app for the forums, compatible with iPhones and Android.

Release date TBD, lots of things to still work on.

Instead of downloading Tapatalk, you would download the HiDefNinja app from the Play or Apple store. :)

Is there a actual release date for this item,

Hi Jason, as stated via PM, sorry, there is no release date from FAC on Creed yet. The most current info will be updated to the OP when we know it.

Karel & Martin can also update their GB listing and it will automatically update all members that purchased a copy when the release date is known.

It was only a matter of time before tapatalk was brought up lol...im perfectly content using the site and commenting on it on the phone. Not throwing any shade, just don't understand the issues people have using their phones for the site, or is tapatalk just that good?

I think the benefit of that app is that you can visit any forum that supports it from there. So you don't need to hop from one to the next in different browser windows, you can select a different forum from the menu and pop in from there.

I'm sure the push / alert feature is quite handy. We've replaced that missing part by allowing people to sign up for Pushover (it's free) and having that alert direct you to the HDN mobile view in your phone's browser.

Within the last couple of weeks it was discovered that people running this forum software were running into a bug inside of Tapatalk that did not account for the time change in the eastern USA, and was blowing up.

Not looking to start a back and forth about it, just saying they still seem to have challenges creating a stable application.

Who would have asked a refund from Manta for Kingsman WEA Exclusive being late ?:joy::hilarious:

Also I do see your posts often and I am wondering if you don't ever get tired to seem always be fighting against something ?
at least it does look often like this...Sometimes its nice to simply just go with the flow ;)
lol I get stressed just reading you at times  jk

I can't afford to pay for this upfront when we don't even have a release date or as to when the GB will be closed

Most Film Arena GB have a closing date when GB will be closed we don't have this info at the moment

If stock still available as in not purchased stock will the GB remain open and not have a closed by date

Film Arena FAC releases on HDN I might be wrong but I would take a guess they account for the most used GB by members
Film Arena releases are more regular than other GB releases

You will see a big drop in purchases having to pay upfront and only very limited amount releases sell fast.

I want to know will the Group Buy remain open even if lot of stock not purchased yet
If Film Arena Group Buy is going to be closed before all available stock sold will we be given notice as to when the GB will be closed I suggest at least 2-4 weeks notice

If all stock purchased before been closed then that fine you either purchased or missed out

@lgans316 in regards to tapatalk it came out that they were stealing forums data and hosting the data on their own site as of last year. If you google around about it you'll find MANY MANY forums pulling their sites from tapatalk as duplicate content can ding you in google and competing against your own's site's content is crazy.

Home Theater Forum just posted this last month as they just pulled their site. We had some threads on there even after all this proving they were storing our content before they even went live with this.

https://www.hometheaterforum.com/community/threads/tapatalk-is-going-away.351617/

HTF claims they are also taking members habits and selling the data to advertisers. *shrug*

I hear what your saying Paul

I think an idea kicking around would be to re open GBs on a set date with a volume i.e.
Total available 250, so
50 copies available on the 1st April
50 copies available on the 7th April
50 copies available on the 14th April
50 copies available on the 21st April
50 copies available on the 28th April

I think your right with what your saying that initially some GB's may not sell out but as I'm commited to Assassins Creed, Passengers, Jungle Book, Bad Boys, Miss Peregrine & Black Hawk Down and that's my priority to honour my commitment but it doesn't leave me much for any new FAC's between now and June.
So I've decided to sell some of collection and be more selective with purchases going forward.
