DB,

Sinister is good. Storm of the Century is also a decent horror. I try to watch one horror movie a day on the month of October leading to Halloween.

I have the cult classics from Scream/Shout Factory lined up..

Scream factory titles are outstanding. I think I will use the month of October to burn through all of my unwatched Arrow Video titles.

Hope to check out Storm of the Century DVD, Sinister BD, and a few others over next week!

I highly recommend Sinister, and I think Storm of the Century is the best Stephen King's tv mini-series so far. You're gonna enjoy them DB.

Watched Halloween 3 for my 2nd time ever last night...
Despite loads of hate for the film, its one of my guilty pleasures... Best of the Halloween series behind Carpenters original and the 2nd film imo ;)

Thanks guys on the titles I mentioned-it sounds like everyone is gearing up for the mini-marathons! I am a HUGE Fog (Carpenter) fan...I have several HD DVD's of the film, and am wondering what your thought is on the Shout Factory version-worth buying for new extras etc? Haven't had a chance to read a whole lot about it, but was wondering how you all think it compares to previous versions? XX-haven't seen part #3 in forever...I remember the hubub that was going on about it not involving Myers, etc, though(hope I am remembering correctly)....

Went into my Arrow collection last night & watched Frankenhooker.

Funny that. It's one of the only Arrow releases I've opened thus far. And only because I was getting it signed by Hennenlotter. I really need to start watching some of my Arrow releases.

Just stumbled upon this thread by accident. EEK!

I think Horror is my favourite genre of movie (just ask my wife!!)

Waiting for some preorders to be delivered.......

Amityville Trilogy (U.S.) Psycho II and III (U.S.) and contemplating getting The Walking Dead 'Aquarium' box set (U.S.)

Infact the U.S. always gets the best releases for horror movies. International ratings boards always ***** out!!

Watched The Bay through Amazon Prime. Better than I thought it would be, may actually pick up the blu if it ever gets released.

It's been released over here....

It's region B locked though as far as I remember.

I hear you buddy. I love this genre too. All Thanks to my crazy ass mother (Don't ask, lol)

I like many will probably treat myself to a movie a night in October to celebrate Halloween.

If anyone is interested, I'd like to recommend a couple of newish horrors. The first a crazy, super low budget Zombie flick called The Battery. The second, a Supernatural thrillery flick called Jug Face.

If anyone watches either of them, you can let me know you think.
