I have to agree with this. Upto 4 copies each for a 1000 print run seems rather excessive as we all know at least 2 will get marked up on EvilBay or used for trading. Surely there should be a limit of 2 at most?

I like this steel though, and I enjoyed the movie so hopefully I can get my hands on this one!

ES usually have a 3 copy maximum for their steels & Bad Grandpa still has copies left (1000 print run)-whilst not in the same league as JR:SR I would imagine-depending on the price-that most people would pass. Seeing as their are still numbered copies of World War Z on ebay I would imagine some trollers might be put off & this will probably get a german or French amazon steel anyway

Think I'll wait until Paramount mass release the identical steelbook in France & Germany for about half the price like they did with Jack Reacher , Hansel & Gretel etc.

I appreciate that some of you want the piece of paper with English written on it for your collections but I don't so this is an easy pass - the limited run of 1,000 will make it way too expensive for what it is anyway.

ES Are really going downhill with these poor film releases. This will be like all the other latest releases from ES overpriced trash. This will be somewhere between 18 and 25 quid. So definitely not even worth looking at. Limited to 1000 or not I'd like to see where he other 3000 end up.

I agree, four copies each is a joke.

out of curiosity, why would hdn want to allow up to 4 copies per person within a group buy on such a low print run:dunno:
how many copies have ES allowed hdn to buy? 500 for example? Leaving just 500 in stock when it goes live? Regardless of the amount I do find it strange to be allowed to buy 4 when ES themselves only allow 3. :wtf:

It's not it's only allowing two copies per member.

Just to insert some facts into the discussion; in the group buy thread:
Limiting this to 2x copies per ninja due to limited quantity

Nor fair to the average brit who works mon-fri 9-5. 4 does seem a lot. Does this mean I have to enter into the group buy so as to secure a copy?? Never thought I'd hear myself defending Zavvi, but Saturdays at 6pm have been great!!!

I would've been all over this, but not at the price ES are gonna charge for it. This will be an easy £20+ job IMO :(
