Electronic Arts' reboot of the Medal of Honor series will be out this October, the publisher announced this morning.

The game, set in Afghanistan and with a realistic slant, will be out in the US on October 12. And Europe October 15.

Medal of Honor, the first game in the series to not take place between 1939-1945, looks set to fill a gap in the shooter market left vacant by Modern Warfare 2, when the latter tripped the light fantastic and became a Tom Clancy wet dream. It'll feature sand, terrorists being kicked out of windows, and beards. Magnificent beards.

Ok....my take on this game......BFBC2 with a different name,seriously,its like they have repacked BFBC2,changed the name,different loading screens, just to make more money lol.

If you never played BFBC2, then you have to wait till the 21st. You should also wait till they patch the damn freezing, don't need any dead ps3's from a BETA.

As for the BFBC2 comparisons, It does steal things from it, but the game feels far from BFBC2. It is a much smaller scale, no destructible environments, no marking, game runs faster, etc. No stupid perks like COD, you earn your attachments from red dot, to silencers, etc. And there are kill streaks, like UAV, mortar strikes, etc.

No its not bad,i just think its like BFBC with all the good stuff taken out
