Can we get a sticky for this? :D

What do ya'll prefer to drink? Beer, Wine, Hard Liquor, Wine Coolers? All of them?

I only drink Beer and Hard Liquor. Mint Mojito is about the only thing close to a wine cooler I'll drink though LOL

That's exactly what I've been doin mexi... I'm on track to add 15lbs of lean muscle mass to this physique. If you all remember from the beer competition when I won gold I was 225lbs then. I lost 45lbs in a little over a year since then and I'm now 185lbs and have started an intense workout plan 6 days a week. The immediate results has been incredible, my body was dying for me to get it in gear and taking out the beer has allowed my hidden 6 pack to start showing through.. If/when I complete my training I should be a lean mean throwing heavy stuff machine!

I think I'll have a few beers this weekend though, we got some new stuff from free state and founder's is starting to find its way into our stores. Woo!

I just had my first Rauchbier and I got to say I like it. Couldn't finish it, I am still not completely used to the smoky flavor of it.

Which one did you try?

Also, Happy end of Prohibition day!

Yes sir! very smoky, sort of hits you at first if you never had it.

That is the original. I had it on tap in the brewery when I was in Bamberg. The smoky taste was even stronger there. I guess it calms down a little on the trip overseas. It's really good either way. Several of us still refer to it as bacon beer.

Yes, it's a very strong smoky flavor. I can see why you guys would say it tastes like bacon. It was good, I am just not used to the flavor yet so I was only able to down about 3 fourths of the bottle.

I love Grey Goose. My favorite drink is Grey Goose with cranberry juice. I also like midori sours.

Yes the goose is loose! I love soem goose and cran or goose and sprite.

Sometimes after a heavy outting of Goose I think I've pulled goose feathers out my pants the next day ............. ( lol I kid.)

What kind of freaky parties you be going to? o_O

:hilarious:

+1

Another good vodka drink is where you take a high ball glass and fill it with ice, throw in a shot to a shot and a half of grape flavored Skyy, and top it off with cranberry juice. It tastes just like grape Kool-Aid. I've also adapted it to pint glasses.

I've had that peach sweet tea vodka, just mix 50/50 with water and some ice.

Tastes just like peach tea. Put a splash of coke on top and you'd never know you were drinking alcohol. Date tested, date approved lol

We've done that one too. It's also good if you do a 50/50 with lemonaid.

So I made the Quadfather yesterday. I'm pretty sure I had a good efficiency in extracting the sugars from the grain, but I somehow ended up with 6 gallons at the end:confused: I used the same mash/sparge calculator that I always do but the grains didnt seem to soak up as much...My original gravity was a little lower due to that but Im still looking at probably 8.5% Its goin to be a long 8 weeks until I can taste this one :(
