all of them look fine, i know i shouldn't complain but i was lucky because the box they came in was badly damaged , glad they are ok but play have set high standards in the packaging department so when i see a drop in standards im going to let them know about it

dont get me started about fnac's packaging or lack of it

Glad they were ok bud, that's the important thing. Yes Play have set the bar high but it seems they set themselves up for more kickback as a result. No-one likes to see a damaged box turn up at the door but if the effort has been made then the protective packaging should do it's job, which fortunately it looks like it did.

No doubt they see these threads so hopefully they take your pics as an example of sub-standard.

Looks like I can't order 3 copies of the same steelbook from play ...
I ordered 3 Watchmens, and after 7-8 days of waiting I don't get my package, but 3 mails from play telling me I get refunded.
This time I ordered 3 BR steels from them, and AGAIN 2 weeks after the dispatch confirmation I get 3 refund mails telling me that they refund me MINUS A FEE BECAUSE ITS AN UNWANTED ORDER RETURN !!!

Can anyone explain this to me ? I live in France and I usually get the single and double SB packages from play after 5 working days ...

If they are being dispatched it sounds like there is a problem with the postage. Have you checked with your postal services whether they are actually recieving these parcels from Play.

Damn, I want to get the Mission Impossible Steelbooks, but since 4 is no longer available I can't bring myself to order the first 3 knowing that I can't compelte the set.

You should accept paypal as method of payment. I have a UK Shipping address and use paypal for most of my purchases. it is safe and secure.

I guess Play are running out of the "good" boxes and reverting to the fold mailing style ones with NO protection...The steels were moving around in the box and the wrap is ripped

My guess is its cos its the holidays and theyre trying to ship out stuff as quickly as possible.

Even though they are actually wasting more time and money with the returns theyll get because of this

Its not really an excuse but hopefully once things calm down theyll go back to proper packaging and not these rush jobs.

Odd with play at times , I ordered 6 steels for a member on here now 5 of them were in the sturdy boxes and 1 turned up in a jiffy bag ,, must have a been period over Christmas and they run out of boxes !!

Could depend on who packs them also.


Where I work (book warehouse) people are always sending stuff out in the wrong packaging, mostly due to the inept supervisors not giving new staff any
"training".

Received 2 packages. One last week and one today. Horrendous packaging. The Steels in the first package were luckily alright but on the second one, 5 out of 7 Steels has loose discs as they were placed upside down in the package.

Complete lack of commonsense.

Absolute shame they're still like that hopefully will be back to proper packaging since the holidays are over (not that it was an excuse in the first place )
