Snooli-from years of collecting, staff here is sharing that Futureshop and Best Buy (owned by the same company) release the same Steelbook. One of the two retailers may negotiate the Steelbook before the other, and the other may share the run-hence why one will have the studio approved art work before the other retailer. Futureshop is much faster with posting actual art work because Steelbooks are a long part of their Exclusives history-this is the reason the picture is usually used by whoever posts. Safe House BB and UK Exclusives were negotiated by different people and across different territories (Futureshop and Best Buy are still both in North America and owned by the same company). The Amazon sites are all part of the same umbrella, but need to work within completely different studio/territories, distribution arrangements, etc, and may have different artwork, stickers, covers, etc etc.
Many, many retailers often post 'preliminary' art and then it is changed several times later. At this site, info is posted as long as it is correct, which is why I encouraged people to wait and see as there is not 1st hand confirmation based on multiple sources that it is a G1. Based on Futureshop's pic, which usually has the same Steelbook as BB (unless it is an Exclusive, which this is not), it will be a G2. If we find out that this Steelbook is a G1, we will simply add it to the title for the community, so they know, and move on. This site has received no 1st hand info that this will be a G1, but again, the studio ultimately decides, and last minute changes are not unheard of.
