We really need some details
as these are scheduled for June release, we really should know what the titles are and a glimpse at the artwork as they are less than 2 months away. comon Zavvi

Entitlement. ;)

We've been saying this for so long (well, I guess I started the complaining but y'know) and it's actually getting crazy now like?? we don't even need to see art yet. just titles. t ell us the titles zavvi/disney/SOMEBODY. this secrecy isn't funny anymore it's just kind of irritating??

and I'm all for the dates being spaced out but that doesn't restrict us from basic details zavvi get ur shizzle together

We have just received two titles and there are two on the way...Do something else to take your mind off it, if it's getting you riled up... watch some films instead of title announcements. :dunno:

I would pick:

Sleeping Beauty - Maleficent movie tie-in
Hercules - Hercules (The Rock) movie tie-in
Lilo & Stitch - Summer mood
Mulan - because I personally want it as a stand-alone movie without Part 2

Zavvi should really do themes with their Waves instead of Random releases like Mary Poppins and Planes. Themes could be things such as The Disney -John Musker/Ron Clements Wave with 1) The Little Mermaid 2) Aladdin 3) Hercules 4) Treasure Planet 5) The Princess and the Frog. It would kind of celebrate Disney history instead of just throwing them out there hoping they'll sell on its own merit.

I think the fact that they do sell on their own merit celebrates Disney history perfectly. Themes are an unnecessary gimmick, they are selling just fine as they are.

I personally think one might get moved to May (Robin Hood)
Hopefully we get a tangled 3d steelbook too. I would love Hercules, the rescuers 1+2, sword in the stone, sleeping beauty, Mulan, beauty and beast, lion king, Snow White etc. the classics. Plus bed knobs, Petes dragon and return to oz

they arent announcing them because it builds anticipation that way. by the time they are announced the anticipation has reached fever pitch resulting in a buying frenzy

opening pre orders for untitled products is an insult.

I wouldn't be keen on The Rescuers/Down Under as a 2-film steelbook, although that would be cheaper.

I'd like a bit of a break from just the animated classics, and would certainly pick up steelbooks for Return to Oz, Tron: Legacy and (although rumoured for next year) The Black Hole.

I didn't mean as a 2 -film steelbook. I just meant both films. I've never heard of the back hole

I've always felt that Aladdin had too much going on. Cinderella and Bambi have much simpler artwork, which I personally prefer. I should state though, of the three, i've only got Cinderella, so my opinion could differ if I compared them in hand.

Do you think they'll release Snow White/Beauty and the Beast at some point? I know both of these are fairly difficult to obtain cheaply on Blu.

So after all this time, only two of these Disney collection titles have sold out, Aladdin and Frozen. Wreck-it-Ralph back in stock as is Bambi and Cinderella. Would've thought by now with the glossy ones, they would've disappeared.

Wondering how many of these are still in stock and how much longer it will take them to sell out? Little Mermaid and Jungle Book don't really count since they seem to have had a larger print run.

In any case, I'm just happy that my Disney collection has grown in leaps and bounds over less than a year after acquiring the original Future Shop animated classics.

Cheers!

I'm certainly hoping for a Beauty and the Beast steel at some point. Wasn't a huge fan of the Ironpack that came out awhile ago, so hopefully Zavvi can put a nice steel out. And I'm sure we'll get Snow White eventually as well.
