I was warming up to them, until the latest set had spine slashes. I guess it's no big deal, I just hope more care is taken with the next set and I'll be one happy camper.

I wasn't very happy with that either. I have a case open with them and sent the photo and everything. Hoping they have good CS as this is my first time ive ever complained to them about damaged product.

I ordered 3x Bambi and 3x Cinderella. ALL came with slashes. They started at offering £2 per copy, then it went to £3, £4 & £5. I wasn't 100% happy with £5 but they refused to do any better. Hopefully you can do better. Be prepared for a ridiculous process though. VERY frustrating...

To date, have been very lucky (knock on wood) with the spine slash situation. Out of all the zavvi purchases, so far only Toy Story 3 has had an issue. Hopefully won't have to deal with customer service.

Sales of Goods Act any faulty product your entitled to replacement or repair or a full refund and any postage cost if returning a faulty product

Acceptance of a partial refund you don't have to accept but for some customers they do agree to this and is up to the customer not the seller if they agree to this if seller makes that offer
If your not happy with this you have your rights under the sale of goods act were a product you receive is faulty

Cosmetic damage as in spine slash is faulty goods unless you were informed of this before payment was made in the description of goods for sale

I have been lucky so far with Zavvi and only had 2 problems I received the wrong item I ordered and other one was steelbook had a dent in it

I got a full refund with wrong item and told to keep it
Damaged steelbook I accepted a partial refund and I only accepted this because item was no longer available
I have ordered over 200 steelbooks/Blu-rays with Zavvi so I have been lucky so far compared to others

If your not happy with what they offer you you can demand your statutory rights under the sale of goods act

I'm calling my shot right now - a few weeks ago I posted that Alice would be amazing in gloss - then Zavvi changed it to gloss - in that same post - I said I really liked the Peter Pan/Dumbo/Lady and the Tramp MATTE line and that if they ever came out with Pinochio that it would look amazing as a MATTE finish. Here is my crystal ball saying they will make this one MATTE. Just saying....

When it get released from the Disney UK Vault
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
Its a vaulted title with Disney UK at the moment but it should be released from the vault later this year or next year in the UK
There is news of a Blu-ray Re Release in France this year buts that's Disney France but no official information yet

When Disney UK release it from the vault you most likely will see a UK Steelbook

I have a replacement otw after getting a slashed Bambi. It was a struggle and after talking to 5 different reps in one convo, I finally hooked one that would send me a replacement. Those partial refund offers are a joke. Yes a £2 refund will make it all okBe assertive and let them know you spend good money and they will more likely sort you out.

Funny you say that...I was thinking of suggesting the same thing of Zavvi for my slashed Bambi.

But figured I'd get a canned response telling me to go pound sand.

Cinderella was my first steel from Zavvi to have a spine slash. I thought of re-ordering it, but mwah... might have a chance of 90% to have the same problem again.

It took me three copies to get a mint copy of Cinderella. Zavvi accepted my request for returns on the other two without question, how long it will take them to actually refund the payments is another matter.

Disney Europe in Spain have Standard amaray Blu-ray release of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in May and even both the The Lion King amaray Blu-ray 2D/3D getting Re Releases in June no world yet though if there getting a UK Re-Release
