To be honest I've never been crazy about the first three. But the hobbit I enjoyed a lot.

Why 4 different versions? I also think they should have added Thorin there, he was more important character in the movie than Bilbo or Gollum anyway. (Also nice to put Gollum there who only was in the movie for like 15 minutes.)

But yeah, I am going to skip on all of those and wait for the whole trilogy box on 2016. It's gonna be long wait but I am not in a hurry to see this movie again. It was a little disappointment.

I think Gandalf should be only on the 3D cover and replace the Gandalf 2D with Thorin. The return of the king is my favorite movie from the lord of the ring series. I don't like the Hobbit as much. Movie spoiler,

Less action and Gandalf had to save these dwarfs (including Bilbo) over and over again through out the entire movie. Without Gandalf, the movie is probably only 30 minutes long Best scene for me is probably when Bilbo took/stole the ring from Gollum.

4 steels, 4 choices, no way I can choose so I'll likely buy all of them. The banner is kind of a bummer though, doesn't really mesh with the colors IMO but I'll still get them regardless.

btw steveguna, when you mention a scene from a movie, it's a good idea to put a spoiler tag around it so it can remain somewhat hidden even though you didn't really reveal all that much. just fyi for future posts

The design on the thinker bell paper slip is just fantastic, don't think there's another one like that.

No info for an exclusive edition for Fnac or Amazon, It would be surprising to see a fifth steelbook
By the way it would be quite easy to add a booklet and put a sticker on it for Fnac...wait and see...

This info booklet has been made for all stores (I presume) because of its availability on the Warner website so it would be available everywhere in France I think.

The percentage of implementation doesn't mean many things as we don't know the total quantity of them

I may be mad but I'm actually hoping they just do 2 listings - 1 for normal and 1 for 3D.

That way it adds to the excitement of what steel you get otherwise everyone will try and order the rariest than when that sells out the middle one then when their gone, everyone will go for the last one left.

They can add a clause of if you buy 2 or 3 there is a very good chance you'll get all the covers.
