Here us a slight guide to the way I glossed mine ok here's what I used
A gravity fed spray gun
Then I used some accelerator and clear coat which I use when I spray cars also added is a slight but if thinners I think it's 2 to 1
The steels are wiped over with cleaners I get rid of grime and oil that fingers can lea e and any oils
Then I spray it in a booth which is heated and has ventilation AND IS HEATED KNOWN AS AN OVEN
Basically it what I use to spray car bits
Then spray and leave them to harden at least a day and this will be hard enough to polish to
OH I FORGOTTO ADD A PICTURE OF THE HARDENER AND THE FACT I GET ALL KITTED UP LIKE WALTER WHITE FROM BREAKING BAD ....
WELL A BREATHING MASK AND OVERALLS AS THIS STUFF ISNT GOOD FOR BREATHING IN A CONFINED SPACE
Edited for trading
and can do sparkly too

if i get my glossing spray delivered till tomorrow. I will post pics despite if it was successful or not

First I tried sanding when it was dry using a fine sanding sponge, forgetting the water. Even with the water and a different piece of sand paper (600, not on a sponge), it just made the orange peel stand out more. Now my black steel has dirty white areas all over it with dark craters. I also ended up stripping the paint on the edges. Maybe I should've used a new, clean piece of sandpaper? Maybe I'm not rubbing hard enough. It looks like a disaster, but since there's still orange peel maybe that's a sign it can be saved if I keep rubbing? Of course the bare metal edges will still be ruined.
How are you guys getting such a perfect smooth finish without visible layers???
On Batman Begins it sure makes a difference. G.I.Joe 2 has some great colors
