So, we have the "Fake" and "Steelbook Price Drop" thread, but we don't yet have the thread where you post listings with "crazy" prices for Steelbooks. If you see any, post them here and have fun debating. As per forum rules, please remain respectful with each other-one person's "high price", could be another's "deal of a lifetime" score. Enjoy! :scat:

Please keep discussion to Ebay and other retailers, not private sellers.

To continue the topic of Well Hubmuswell and ocielz, quadruple the value of your Steelbook by adding a lenticular sleeve:

eBay item number 200633055931

:)I think I might just do that. I'll put my Minority Report lenticular slip case to my MN steel and see how much I can get. Super rare ultra limited special awesome edition:)

Would it up the value if I have my 4yr old son knock up a custom-sleeve @ kindergarten?

LOL, very sad, people get taken for a ride by these people. Our hope is no one contributes to ripping people off with these "doctored" releases assembled at a kitchen table, and instead reporting these sellers/pointing out the genuine releases to help protect members from losing their shirt. If anyone has questions regarding the official releases, sees unofficial releases (you can discuss here), feel free to visit the Steelbook forum, or contact a moderator (myself, apsmith21 or justinetime2k) with any questions:)

It's even worse than I thought: the minute the auction ends I get a Second Chance Offer. When I view the bidding history I see a memmber with 5fb has ade the mmost bids.
My guess is the seller raised the price of his own auction with his second account.

I love the title of this thread. Everytime I see it, I think of Jimmy McMillan
