Mine will be stripped off to the bare to be treasured forever. Bought one copy solely for myself to enjoy...no point buying something of sch beauty just so it can pick up dust....will never understand that philosophy of buyers who just buy solely to keep sealed on shelves....how else is one meant to enjoy the beauty esp with the new master of the disc being inside.

You got it bro...nothing to add!

ill be keeping this one sealed and perhaps pick up another some time in the future to open if they don't get too expensive!!

Totally agree....u wouldnt buy a new tv no matter how limited it ws to keep it sealed. Lifes too short....enjoy things u purchase....cant wait now for mine!!

In the past I kept a few of my steel's sealed then one day I thought this is madness so I opened em up and felt great:hilarious: If ur keeping them sealed all ur doing is wasting money, not much point in buying if u can't sit and enjoy the movie.

its great to see so many people actually open them, ive never understood any logic in keeping them sealed unless you buy to resell, any other excuse is poor as u spend all that money and they collect dust on a shelf.

I can see both points of view, each to their own i say! There's a good debate thread on opening Steelbooks or keeping them sealed, check it out here!

Do stamp collectors buy them to stick them on letters. I'm still waiting on a delivery with a Penny Black!

Do gun collectors brush off the patina ?

Anyway, I can't wait to get mine (thx pud), this looks so beautiful, especially the matte black color
