According to accepted principles...

couple = two
few = three
some = four
several = five
many = >six

Anyone want to take a guess on how many over 4,000 will be made? It will not be thousands more was a comment, so are we talking in the hundreds? If we are talking greater than that, then does a few more mean another 3,000? :dunno:

My gut feeling would be a possible increase somewhere between 999 and 1,001 units. This would then comply with Wrecks quote of 'not talking thousands more' and be in line with general print run increases which tend to be in multiples of a thousand.

Regardless, I'd make sure I had at least one copy on order just in case!

grrr its not gonna match my t2 japan version .. do i get rid of that and go buy a t2 skynet version to match in country terms .. or am i being to ocd ?

Is there such a thing as being 'too ocd'? :D

I'm so bad I have CDO. I can't stand things out of alphabetical order. :hilarious:

How likely is it that Play would be doing the rest of the movies in Steelbook form?
I kind of want to track down the other movies now released in other regions in Steelbook form, but would highly highly prefer owning future Play.com releases of T2-3, etc. in a similar art style as this instead. :D

Given the amount of releases that we are seeing - I think it's likely that at some point they probably will.

Having said that, if you're looking for the T2 Japanese steelbook, I don't think you can go wrong with that one - it's pretty nice. :)

Yep, anyone ever see this movie? Is it any good?

:hilarious:

I actually just watched it for the first time yesterday, lol! It was ahhh well dare I say OLD. Thats the only way to put it for anyone watching it for the first time in 2012. Im sorry but it was just too old to get into although the shootout scenes were still decent even after this long. Now I just gotta watch T2 (seen T3 and TS). The thing though is I love the Terminator series since I saw T3 (which most of you regard as horrible, lol).

I don't get how most Terminator fans didn't like Terminator Salvation then? I personally loved the movie. Loved the Sarah Connor TV show as well. I guess Im too young to maybe realize how good Terminator 1 & 2 were in their time then I take it?

Im not trying to start anything just trying to gauge and get perspective on some of these older movies as to how good they really were in their time, because for someone like me catching up on some of the older movies before I was born especially the sci-fi flicks its been tough too see what made them so great. On a positive note man it was funny to see Linda Hamilton so young after watching her in a couple seasons of Chuck recently.

Once Im done T2 next up is the Alien anthology once it gets in my hands. Ill be watching that for the first time. :D

Hey Steelbook-it's cool-our movie watching exposure and perception is affected by so many things. I grew up with Terminator, so for me, I have perspective as to how awesome the concept and effects were for 'it's time' and even now, because we have plenty of more advanced computer effects that can't really be compared. Terminator, for me, was far more superior story-wise, and for it's sheer level of accomplishment for its time period. It was more about the cool concept than any shoot out scenes. My personal opinion is that we rely far too much on 'effects' today and less on the quality of the writing, script and imagination. So to that end, putting all Terminator films into perspective, Salvation was a 'big shoot 'em up' flick, but it did hold a candle to part 1. Terminator 2, is more action packed, but still maintains a solid story, imo. Salvation looked pretty and I did like the 'robot being 'human'' story byline, which ended up being a break out role for him, but few films defined a decade as Terminator did. So for me, it will always be a classic, in it's own right. 'Salvation' will never define our decade. To compare the films to each other without considering the above, and other factors that are important, is dangerous. The most important thing is you're learning about and experiencing films you've never seen (I am still catching up on multiple decades before our current time)-films that laid the ground work for modern cinema. To me, it's all about the film journey :scat:

^^^ So true. TS definitely will not define our decade "or its time" thats for sure. It was just a good movie (I thought) in the big picture look of things even for myself.

I do get it though.. what your saying. I mean to me Matrix was just genius and someday Im sure some kid will watch it 30 years after release and say what is this garbage, lol.

Will report back after T2 and the Alien movies. Ive been trying to watch some of the more raved about older movies recently so Ive made a list. Might as well add Indy 1-3, Jaws and Das Boot to that list as well.
