Hooch, don't get me wrong-sometimes BIG effects work, but I still try to appreciate the classics in context

But do Play do the same as Amazon and up the print run if they get a large uptake? Kind of defeats the point of collecting despite the nice artwork...

Amazon.co.uk have never had an exclusive Blu-ray steelbook to my knowledge therefore they wouldn't have the power to 'up the print run'. I have also never known Play.com to increase the print otherwise we wouldn't see their exclusives selling out so quickly. I'm amazed that Chronicle is still in stock, I guess it's down to the sheer number of steelbooks being released at the moment. Under normal circumstances, I think it would've sold out weeks ago.

I actually just watched it for the first time yesterday, lol! It was ahhh well dare I say OLD. Thats the only way to put it for anyone watching it for the first time in 2012. Im sorry but it was just too old to get into although the shootout scenes were still decent even after this long. Now I just gotta watch T2 (seen T3 and TS). The thing though is I love the Terminator series since I saw T3 (which most of you regard as horrible, lol).

I don't get how most Terminator fans didn't like Terminator Salvation then? I personally loved the movie. Loved the Sarah Connor TV show as well. I guess Im too young to maybe realize how good Terminator 1 & 2 were in their time then I take it?

Im not trying to start anything just trying to gauge and get perspective on some of these older movies as to how good they really were in their time, because for someone like me catching up on some of the older movies before I was born especially the sci-fi flicks its been tough too see what made them so great. On a positive note man it was funny to see Linda Hamilton so young after watching her in a couple seasons of Chuck recently.

Once Im done T2 next up is the Alien anthology once it gets in my hands. Ill be watching that for the first time.

I was under the impression that whilst not touted as an Amazon exclusive, you were only able to buy the Minority Report Steelbook brand new from them?

Call me a sceptic but I do question how this hasn't sold out yet. I have a feeling about an impending announcement...

fyi - confirmed .... This would have been sold out or very close it if not increased. Final confirmation and not going to rise anymore is 5k. So that is still EXTREMELY limited!

Eye situation on art has also been fixed. (thx for pointing that out to me/us guys)

5,000 is a good settlement from Play, and once again they have shown that they listen to us and put the interests of Collectors first, rather than chasing the quick win to the detriment of the bigger picture.
