OK, I just saw your post. Any idea why these discs haven't shipped from the studio yet? This doesn't seem good...

I was told back in the early life of this thread that this was that new remaster.


I would presume they have shipped from studio. Thing is in the process of a steelbook the cases are made and handled by Scanavo and the discs by studio .. then both send stuff to an outfit that then puts them all together and wraps and stickers them when required. My guess is they are either there or on their way to Play if not already there as well. I could find out if Play has received them yet ... but, we're all so close to release that I dont think that matters so much.

I have question, as there's no mono listed, do you think the 5.1 DTS-HD track is redone from the original mono or do you think it's the new mix from 2000/2001?

at the moment, it's pointing to the 2001 mix. I'm a fan of the original mono audio so have been keeping tabs on this issue as well

the 2001 mix was approved back then and there's no evidence that it's been altered since

but we'll see in 2 weeks time. don't hold your breath though

It would be a shame if that's the case (and it most likely is).

If they, or rather, when they release this new remaster in the U.S., perhaps it will come with the mono.

Still looking forward to receiving my steelbook soon

yeah although their new packaging method is really good it doesn't garantee that you'll have a mint copy , i had to return an iron man copy also because one of the sides was smashed so bad things can happen before they ship it to us customers so if you want to be sure to receive a mint copy the best way is to order two copies especially if it's a release that will sell out before it's release date

I caved in and bought one from Ebay and have the French one coming too.
