This Fall The Walking Dead comes to the toy store with McFarlane Toys action figures of Rick Grimes, Daryl Dixon, Zombie Biter and Zombie Walker. Available for purchase November 2011.

Spawnshop I'm still a bit confused about the TV Solids fig. That comes out in June. Is
TV Solids a new line including other properties too? Or solids like a solid case to walgreens? Basically is Shane 2 the only TWD AMC fig dropping that month?
And what wave would he count as??

no specific new wave.... just a special for Walgreens. called "solids" because he ships alone (tells buyers that they could do a special order.) He's sort of part of wave 6, but he may have slightly different artwork on the card since he is a past character from season 2.

If I knew what they were specifically, I would. But we don't know yet.... still working on finalizing that series.

Exactly what I was expecting!
The 10'' looks AMAZING as well, but it's too much to get one of these here in Brazil.
Can't wait to see more Tv Series 6.
Comic series really improved.
Really starting to consider picking them up.

Thanks! No, not yet. we are still working on the sculpts for them others. Maybe some sales images will leak in another month or so.

Sorry, the Prototype wasn't ready in time....i was just reviewing it this morning before TF. You should see him soon, in the next couple weeks.

I'm hoping it'll be an Armies of Middle Earth type but with zombies and survivors because that'd be kinda sweet. Winnebago, farm, and prison playsets plus a bucket o' zombies.

Here is a cool post that Todd put up on his Facebook page on Monday night:

Do you like The Walking Dead? The Daryl character? Norman Reedus the actor? Well...you should like what we have coming your way then.

Below you'll see an image of the Daryl on his motorcycle action figure coming out soon (in April), but instead of just showing you the product itself, I also wanted to show you how we get there.

The other photos reveal that Norman was such a great advocate of him being in some of the toy lines, that he willingly came out to our New Jersey office so that we could SCAN him. What this means is that we are able to caputre both intense close-ups of his face as well as getting full composite maps of his body...all while he is doing his posing and acting. We have been able to scan dozens and dozens of celebrities over the year to convert them in toys, but I must say that Norman has been one of the most enthusiastic one yet. I really help when the actors are into the process too.

The photos of him show his posing in the big, full body scanner that stands about 9 feet tall, and also him sitting giving us some great facial expressions. Lastly, I am including a couple of screen grabs that show how all that scanning information looks like after each image is complete (a full body scan takes 20 seconds, while a face scan takes 12 seconds). It is like taking a black and white photo if you will.

yes, she was scanned, but AMC kept making revision notes on it. This happens every now and then. (Same thing happened with Andrea). when we first submit the sculpt, it's not painted, and I guess it can throw some people off.
Plus, if the factory paint looks crappy on top of it, it doesn't help. (Partially the issue with this one.....i can't stand the eye paint on this one )

we've been painting the portraits now with submitting, and I have to say, every portrait looks awesome for series 6. Lets hope they hold up through production....

On another note, The Charred Zombie is Awesome!! Love the effect when light hits it I finally have a Tyreese figure now patiently waiting for Comic Tyreese.
