It's Disney it's normal to see re releases of animated Disney films
If you look at recent Disney amaray re releases last Christmas and followed by more re releases in middle of this year and guess what there are more re releases again this Christmas

Disney do re releases of the Disney/Pixar catalogue 2-3 times a year and sometimes 4 times in a year on selected titles

At least with the steelbooks it's 1-2 years between re releases

I know, it really is pathetic how they cling to a select group of franchises again and again in a desperate attempt to maximize profits.

The irony is that if they're weren't so rigidly focused on profits and gave us some diversity then they'd probably get more sales. Seriously there's a TON of great titles that haven't even had a sniff of a steelbook.

Really? If anything Zavvi is probably the most diverse Steelbook retailer.

So after the first two animated lenti releases which had me in a confusion
I am a big Disney Blu Ray collector but as there were so many steels coming out for the classics I consciously missed most of the Pixar steels.
My Pixar collection is patchy at best.
Not having any of the Toy Story steels or Toy Story 1 and 2 in 3d this release is quite appealing.
I was just about to buy on the bay but think I will get this instead

Yes. I like it. It's not the best and probably worse than the first release. But I don't own the first one and this is priced right compared to the other so I'm ok with it

When I missed out on the first wave of Toy Story steelbooks I opted to get the 3D amarays instead.
The art on this new wave is a bit lacklustre, so I'm not feeling the need to upgrade.

This is bad.
Like... horrendously bad.

It's not elegant, nor does it feel like a "streamlined" design. This just feels like an intern dropped 2 character models on a flat blue background.

These re-releasing really are making me sick, I honestly wouldn't even have minded if they had released films not yet released like Lilo and Stitch etc with a lenticular steelbook version but to just stop dead and start re-releasing previous ones is a joke.
