Yes, it's Region A Locked

Amazon.jp packaging is crap, just a cardboard envelope. Had 2 damaged steels from them.

Anyone know if this is region A only?

My 2 arrived in perfect condition too, but mine was only lightly wrapped in bubble wrap and then in a plastic bag mailer, not great, but still arrived perfect, so no complaints. Love yesasisa, no customs or vat...very happy...

What annoys me is that when I got my 2 Res Evil trilogy steels, they were wrapped up great in a box, why can't they do that all the time...

With Yesasia, if you ask them to bubblewrap and put in a box, they will.

Darc, yes I've done it before, too, and so far they've always responded by packing it nicely. Yes, they should do it anyway, but at least it seems they're actually listening...

ive got this only trouble is it region locked the disc and will not play gutted, is there any thread with what blu rays are locked etc to what region in here guys

I would suggest you skip amazon.jp, the packaging is crap.
My first one came in damaged, they resend anther one whcih is also damaged due to the crappy packaging.

I was considering ordering this from Amazon.jp but custom charges will make it way to expensive.

How does one differentiate between the JP and the Thai version??

If it's sealed that Thai version will have that hologram in the front bottom left hand corner and the paper slip on the back of the steelbook.

If it's unsealed, I don't know - as I haven't seen the inside of the Thai version to note if it's the same disc or not.

I'm sure it's just like the Predators steelbook, I couldn't tell the Thai or UK editions apart once they were open.

It's the same both outside and inside steelbook between Thai and Japan version . Here is the photo of Thai version

I also believe that Thailand had shared quantity with Japan

The only difference when open is the blu ray disc, one has Japanese symbols and the Thai version doesn't. Still sealed theres no difference.

It seems I have the JP version.

Looking at it now the Yen symbol on the front is a dead giveaway.
