I understand your frustration dude but with BF steels patience is a virtue, I, like you are desperate to get this in my paws but I also understand how lucky we are on here to have people who are so generous with their time & prepared to give up a good chunk of it to buy, pack and ship these across the globe to our doorsteps. I am not having a go at you dude, just giving you a gentle reminder on how fortunate we are to be able to get these in the first place

Couldn't have said it better myself, patience is a required element when it comes to Blufans releases as I've come to accept

They're just a little shop from what I can tell and I'm sure they do their best to get all their releases out in a timely manner, and for whatever reasons things get delayed

I don't at all blame people for any frustrations they might feel, but myself personally I trust all parties involved (BF, kevin (bluraysteel), the HDN hubs) are all doing the best they can for us lucky folk

Trust me, like everyone else, I can't wait to get this release!

Btw, is it me or is it weird that the 3D slip (Jan 2014) will end up shipping after the 2D one (this week), even though the 2D one was the one with the rejected slip that we were told was the reason it was postponed :

Latest bulletin from Blufans:

The 3D slip design has been approved. Images of that will be made public after production, which should be next week.

The 2D design has been rejected. Resubmitted a new design as below (I think?) and is waiting approval.

Release schedule for December, before Christmas.

I haven't received a payment request either. I ordered when bluraysteel was on holiday in November.

Expect extended delays and even changes for Blufans releases, if you really want them. If you don't have a lot of patience, don't order one. This isn't a fast food drive-thru...

That doesn't really make sense - can't see how the wait is related to disposable income. If someone doesn't have the money they should not be ordering irrespective of how long it takes to come out.

It is related. Affluent folks can afford to pay in advance and play the waiting game. Some members here sell their stuffs and use that money to buy these exclusives. Some go to extreme lengths to get these. So their views have to be considered as well.

If someone is literally selling stuff to buy steelbooks then maybe they need to take a step back and look at themselves. No one HAS to do that, if they choose to do that then they are just the same as anyone else here who has given up some cash (no matter where from) to buy a steel they like.

ALL steelbooks are a luxury. All steelbooks are bought with disposable income. Double underline and exclamation point.

Seriously, I think some members need to realise that especially when they say they HAVE to own this or that and that they HAVE to be made and shipped to their own schedule. Sure you may have put money down on this steel, but why does that entitle you or anyone to a faster or better service? I'm sure they are doing the best they can and it's not like plenty of foreign steels aren't delayed. Quite why a delay would be a surprise at this point is a mystery.

If you couldn't afford to pay in advance then, quite simply, you shouldn't have ordered. Likewise if you are saying people have to sell personal possessions or go without some other necessity then why are they wasting money on steelbooks in the first place? (that's a rhetorical question BTW).

FYI I'm not affluent, but I did have enough money to cover the advance costs of this. I didn't need the money for anything else at the time so, for me, this was a reasonable purchase. It may not be for everyone.

If this was eBay or Amazon or Zavvi I am pretty sure there would be a major outcry. I do appreciate the efforts and there is absolutely no concerns about that but not providing any solid update doesn't help.

Yeah, I can agree with that.

I don't mind paying upfront personally - but then having the dates messed around without any information is a touch galling. I've never personally ordered from Blufans before so I'm relying on other peoples positive feedback. But I had to do the same with Kimchi and the steels I got from them I'm really happy with.

Guess it's down to people to see whether or not they want to take the plunge. The artwork on this steel is superb and is far superior to the Zavvi effort so, for me, it's a no brainer. It if does ship this week (I ordered the 2D slip) then I can't wait to get it.

It`s not related for me. I can afford these Steels easily .I`m just sick of these Delay`s from BF. That`s it !!!
