They were for a while - but I believe the chances of finding one today are slim to none.
Even if you got one at retail, it would have cost you around $40 - $45 shipped week of release from a Canada friend. If you get one off amazon resellers or e-bay, it's only costing you around $15 more as premium. That's not much of mark up considering how long ago it was released.
I hear ya, I would just rather give the business to a member of this forum. To me, thats kind of the point of the community.
I think I sold mine in the $60 range then too tho ... so you would have to get hella lucky. You might be lucky in the sense that you could do a trade with someone so it doesnt sting as much. ps. Bidou shipped my package, I'll let you know when ur stuff arrives.

Excellent steelbook and definitely one of my favourites....Can't go wrong with Watchmen releases....
Same here got the ultimate edition box set, but was not going to pass on the steelbook as it is pure sex on metal.
