I now have confirmation that I can announce ... for all those worried about future packaging from Zavvi. My Play contact has been working with zavvi as well on this mission for better packaging. Between the 3 of us and the future comments from this community after its in place I'm sure it will be go over well.

Zavvi leading me on a right merry dance now havnt received my Maleficent steelbook which has angered me enough but now I've complained I'm just being hit with stalling tactics
Firstly asking me to make sure someone else in the house hasn't signed for it
Followed by check with the neighbours
Now I have to print out a lost goods article and sign it then send it in just so they can continue with there investigation
This company never ceases to amaze me

This is common with gloss steelbooks now, most gloss steelbook will have that stretching like in your picture, seems they changed the manufacturing process, I thought I had a damaged ones too at one stage but I realised most are like this now. I would decide if it bothers you to the point you do not want to collect steelbooks anymore.

Some retailers have some sort of maximum returns policy, if they feel your returns are not acceptable it will kick in. The customer support at Zavvi obviously did not understand why you sent so many back or they would have explained it's the manufacturing process, Zavvi are nowhere near as good as Amazon.

Has any received the voucher codes from zavvi for the new site survey they were supposed to be sent out by the 31st oct?

Also I have to agree with some of the comments here I've received a lot of damaged item recently a lot of which could be resolved by using cardboard, zavvi are one of the few retailers left that still use those jiffy bags, even those cardboard mailers would be a step up , not a big step but a step all the same.

Jiffy bags lol.

Hi everyone, and led a registered while, but had not yet taken part, I'm doing the disney collection, but I had a problem with the card and well, lost Reserve Lion King, you know if you will return to take stock?

Zavvi usually put up extra stock a few days before dispatch, best thing to do is subscribe to Lion King thread and wait for notifications listed there.

No specific for this steel wire? as I encontarlo, I'm a little lost, thanks. I hope you put as I would hate to stay without it.

Ugh, Zavvi (& their customer 'support') are so useless.

Received a damaged steelbook from them in an A1 mailer yesterday, sent them a message about it just after noon stating that I don't wish to keep it or have a partial refund and asking them to supply me with their returns details so I can send it back for a full refund.

Get a reply from them... almost 25 hours later, and just get their standard copy/paste reply, saying they want to offer me a 10% refund as a gesture of goodwill, so clearly they never even bothered to read my message.
No doubt it'll be another 24 hours or so until the next reply... which probably won't even contain the actual details I've now asked for twice.

It wouldn't be so bad if their support weren't so slow to reply, they really need to take a leaf out of Amazon's book and improve it, a lot.

I've also asked them twice to re-add me to their mailing list (having unsubscribed a couple of years ago - and their site won't let me re-add it myself as it says it's already in their list), each time I asked I was re-assured that the details had been sent on to the respective 'department' for re-adding... surprise surprise, it never happened.

So, I changed my email on their site and apparently subscribed to their mailing list using the new one... but have never been sent any newsletters to that one either.

I did that, but never got one either.

Since when did Zavvi default to DPD premium delivery when ordering an item? I just placed an order not looking at delivery cost (as I assumed it would go via free delivery) and it charged me £4.95 for delivery

what really annoys me is that its pretty much impossible to cancel an in stock order. Even if you order something and cancel it 1second after ordering the canellation will always fail. Why even have a cancel button on in stock orders as it just doesnt work. And the fact you have to wait at least 24hours for a reply from their staff is just stupid

The cut and paste reply you get from their customer services really gets annoying as hell too. You can write in detail about a damaged item and state you want a replacement and then they email you back ignoring everything you say and offer you a crappy 10% partial refund.

I contacted them about the issue I had with my order being sent via DPD express delivery, yes I know its my fault for not checking but I kinda think its stupid that since day 1 they had free delivery as the default option then one day they change it to be the express £4.95 delivery.

The reply I got from Zavvi said that my problem has been esculated to the Customer Relations Team, whatever that means.

Just got a dispatched email for this 'steelbook' from Zavvi. Did not realise I still had an open order as I thought it had been cancelled. So does this means I've got an amray on the way that I'll have to return??
