Current packaging is a cardboard mailer with the steelbook usually wrapped in either a layer of bubble wrap or foam

I now have confirmation that I can announce ... for all those worried about future packaging from Zavvi. My Play contact has been working with zavvi as well on this mission for better packaging. Between the 3 of us and the future comments from this community after its in place I'm sure it will be go over well.

Yeah the codes were working a few days ago, but they seem to have stopped them unfortunately. Nearly all my orders with zavvi have had a discount code used, don't know if I can bring myself to order something without one now!

Got my first purchase with them delivered to my place yesterday. The Godather Trilogy Steelbook arrived safe and sound, took a little more than the estimated date.

All in all, great service and I'll surely be getting more from them.

i have followed every rule and regulation. no order over 5 copies, had a couple of issues with my packages never getting here and being lost in the mail.

the fact and principle for every business is communication ! if i did something wrong, a explanation would be appreciated. this goes for every and any company, if your customer service fails, your company will fail. Look at bestbuy and how they have improved.

FIRST AND LAST EXPERIENCE IN BUYING AN OLD TITLE FROM ZAVVI!!!!

I ordered X-Men Origins and I received it in a big box with big air bubbles under and above the steelbook.
Good surprise I thought, But NO!
They sent me an OPENED, I mean UNSEALED, steelbook with scratches and big dents on many parts of it!

I've sent them an email and now waiting for their answer...

I have same on order was shipped to me other day should arrive for delivery to me on mon or tue of next week hope its not damaged returns there sending out as price paid was €14.35
I will let you know if mine arrives unsealed or damaged hope its in mint condition

I've always been a fan of Zavvi, and whilst they aren't perfect they are learning. And boy do they deserve credit for all of these awesome releases they are bringing our way, hopefully more people will start go give Zavvi the credit they deserve.

zavvi does deserve credit for the awesome releases their coming out with, especially with the finish of embossing and gloss. its awesome, but how am i supposed to enjoy something when i fear two things... 1) my orders getting canceled for no reason or 2)item is damaged or not as described as pointed out by Kuzco

and for those who believe a limit of 5x per title is too much ? and anything in excess of 1 is automatically geared towards pure profit and markup and greed, i think thats

i get more than one copy for any titles as potential trade chips and to help members out that have unfortunate situations like mine with NO MARKUP

just cause you get more than one copy of anything DOES NOT MEAN IT ENDS UP ON EBAY !

I have to admit it seems harsh that all your orders got cancelled. Would have made more sense at least to keep 1 of each on order for you, but I don't know the full details and am not in control of that decision so couldn't comment further

And I don't think you need to keep justifying to others why you have bought multiples. You have your reasons. That should be enough

I think the same way you do. I ordered more than one Aladdin, because I missed WFRR and other steelbooks that are now too expensive for me so I will trade my spare copy of Aladdin (or others steelbooks I might have).
And I don't feel ashamed of that at all

Quick question: What happens when you cancel a part of an order which is using a discount code? Will the system recalculate automatically? I am just asking because I don't want my whole order get cancelled in the end because of whatever reason/error.

Zavvi has shipped my MIB Trilogy steelbook on 8 april from the UK to Belgium ... i still haven't received my item ... do i need to worry now or does this it takes that long to receive sometimes your steelbook ?
