Current packaging is a cardboard mailer with the steelbook usually wrapped in either a layer of bubble wrap or foam

I now have confirmation that I can announce ... for all those worried about future packaging from Zavvi. My Play contact has been working with zavvi as well on this mission for better packaging. Between the 3 of us and the future comments from this community after its in place I'm sure it will be go over well.

1/19/2013 Member Nyvo tweeted Zaavi about packaging concerns. They said they may be looking into alternate packaging methods.

A friend of mine once told me never to use the International Tracked because it ships as slow as or sometimes slower than the International Standard, but I didn't know there was no tracking information.

Anyway, doesn't the International Tracked cost £16.99, £16 more than the Standard?

It's £8,5 (10€) for the fake International Tracked to Belgium.
 
Please could some kind soul please put me out of my misery and let me know the customer services email address for Zavvi so that I can send them an email about my damaged Withnail steel

Their site keeps sending me in a loop back to exactly where I started and it's beginning to feel like I'm in a really crap remake of Groundhog Day :(

Warning : The "International Tracked Delivery" is just a scam for you to pay 10€ for nothing.
It's just the normal delivery.I receive I,Robot and Independence Day on monday, Black Swan is missing from my order.I contact Zavvi and they can't locate Black Swan since the "International Tracked Delivery" have NO TRACKING.

They already take 3-5€ more then play.com for 1 steelbook and now this...

They just steal money from me.

I hate zavvi, they only gave me a refund for one of my star treks and tried to say I didn't have authorisation number for the other, complete liars and I'm starting to think its a bunch of crooks who's running things over there, they are a complete disgrace and its shocking how they think they can get away with this sort of stuff, I'm still waiting on a reply for my damaged commando and I sent avatar back, this time I didn't have authorisation number because I didn't get one after I asked for it and had to send it back with a note before 14 days were up, they said they couldn't refund it so I asked for it back but Iv'e heard nothing and that was a week ago, Unless I get my money and steelbook back I'l never order again from them

Just another set of reasons why i mentioned earlier that packages should be sent together !

This is what the instructions say:

We want to ensure you are always happy when shopping with zavvi.com. To ensure this, we offer an "absolute satisfaction" guarantee where you can return any unopened item within 14 days of the date when you received the order.

We will refund your credit or debit card once we have received and processed the item (please allow up to 14 working days from date of postage).

In order to arrange a return, please contact us and inform our customer service team of your order number, the item you are returning and the reason for the return.

Please note that we reserve the right to refuse any return which does not include a returns authorisation number.

We will then reply with a unique returns authorisation number and the address you need to send the item to.

You'll need to package the item securely and include:

Your order number
The returns authorisation number
Whether a replacement or refund is needed
The reason why you are returning the item.
If your item is faulty you will need to tell us what exactly the fault is.

When you return your item please remember to ask the Post Office for a receipt which you should keep as proof of sending until you have received your replacement or your refund.

My "biggest" order was 3 (with different package) at the same time.How many do you need to have them in a big box?

I hear your pain! Was stuck in the same loop myself yesterday as it won't allow you to contact them about previous/despatched steels only outstanding orders.

In the end I sent messages via the checkout query AND the general returns/refunds query - finally this evening I got a response to both queries and hopefully tomorrow I'll get my returns authorisation number :)

"We’ve got some brand new, top secret steel books going live on Saturday, so keen an eye out!"

Hello does zavvi provide any sort of tracking or can they track their packages within uk?

Still waiting on some orders from the 30th of may but i presume everyone has received there nemo steelbooks so i think there is a problem :/

Lol well I've now been asked to submit photos of the damage to the Black Swan steel - this will be the point where we discover scratches and paint chips are not classed as damage no doubt!! ;)

Received my Withnail & I steel today in this condition:

This will be my first issue with Zavvi. Have already sent an query with a link to this picture.
Do they wait sending out a replacement until after they have received the damaged one back?
 
After receiving a damaged Nemo steelbook I emailed Zavvi asking for a partial refund and this was their reply:

Hello Mr,

Thank you for getting in touch about your damaged steelbook Finding Nemo.

I am sorry that this item ha arrived with you damaged, I can now see that we do in fact have stock of this item as we were sent more then expected by our supplier.

As this is the case please return this to us using the Collect Plus label we have emailed to your account. The label should be attached to the outside of the parcel to ensure the return is free of charge.

Now that's interesting....
