Current packaging is a cardboard mailer with the steelbook usually wrapped in either a layer of bubble wrap or foam

I now have confirmation that I can announce ... for all those worried about future packaging from Zavvi. My Play contact has been working with zavvi as well on this mission for better packaging. Between the 3 of us and the future comments from this community after its in place I'm sure it will be go over well.

1/19/2013 Member Nyvo tweeted Zaavi about packaging concerns. They said they may be looking into alternate packaging methods.

Yeh, I didn't get an email about that specific offer.
Maybe a bit of vengeance on Zavvi's part over my morally-bankrupt use of the rewards loophole over the past month.

For the glitch maybe, but I just want to use my legitimate balance - 4699 points
I have sent a mail to customer service - I will not accept that I "just can't use them anymore". They should issue an email to warn everyone they have to use them by a certain date

I don't recall ever receiving an email or notification directly from Zavvi that they were stopping the points system so you're well within your rights to use them up. Good luck mate, hopefully they let you. Also, keep us ninjas updated, I'm sure there are others out there in the same boat.

I seem to recall getting one saying that they would not issue points anymore but there is a difference between not issuing new points and letting someone use the points they have already accumulated. I have not used any of my points yet.

Have you tried manually typing in your point balance in the rewardz points field. That worked for me, last week.
 
no word on our missing Rewards Points? I have not use any of my points. they can just confiscate those without atleast 1-2 months warning. that's bad business. if I had known that those points will be invalid soon I would have used them up on my past few purchases
 
The absolute bastards have stolen my points and tried to pass it off with me just like the rest of you guys.

I'm not having it. I have over 2,700 points owing to me. I earned them as we all have.
I told them I want a voucher to the correct amount, or a credit to my account ASAP., and that I will not tolerate them stealing from me!

I won't let this go, and nor should anyone else - it is OUR money they have taken. If they stop the scheme they should credit us accordingly, not just say we sent an email - which incidentally I don't recall receiving either!

If everyone complain about the missing/stolen rewards points, they will be forced to return them to the consumers who patronize their stores despite the mostly lousy return policies..hope I will here from them soon..I have atleast 3k points myself and I don't remember receiving this phantom email that they are claiming. If this is how you repay loyal customers, I don't know what kind of business ethics this company have

If they don't wite to me today, I will keep on writing until they do, every day.

Failing that, I am thinking of writing to trading standards. They cannot be allowed to get away with this!
