Current packaging is a cardboard mailer with the steelbook usually wrapped in either a layer of bubble wrap or foam

I now have confirmation that I can announce ... for all those worried about future packaging from Zavvi. My Play contact has been working with zavvi as well on this mission for better packaging. Between the 3 of us and the future comments from this community after its in place I'm sure it will be go over well.

1/19/2013 Member Nyvo tweeted Zaavi about packaging concerns. They said they may be looking into alternate packaging methods.

I had a pre-order with Zavvi, I used Paypal, it was pending then just disappeared, do they wait to take the money on Paypal?

Also how do you add another credit card to your account and keep the existing one as well?

They really don't like to make things simple at Zavvi. :( :confused:
 
Just wanted to know has anyone returned any items to zavvi with collect plus? Beacuse I tried to but the collect plus barcode was not recognised so not sure why zavvi told me to take there in the first place. Should I just send it with Royal Mail and do they refund the postage costs?

Zavvi only allow you to send though collect plus for free if you have a damaged item, but it does have a tracking number on the reciept that you get from the drop shop.

If you send through collect plus just because you no longer want an item you have to pay like £3.50. Which is much higher than Royal Mail. I sent one recently for £1.20 and it took 1 day to get to them. But no they do not refund this, but maybe they would if it was a damaged item, I don't know....haven't asked them.....but I doubt it!

I'm not sure about the funny barcode. If they sent you a collect plus label with a barcode that wasn't recognised then I would argue it is their fault and they should refund you everything include P&P.

Those buggers! I am in the same boat..my Wall-E still hasn't arrived & it's been almost a month on the 26th
I had 2 Beauty and the Beasts ordered on Pre-order day way back when, and I never got them. And Zavvi never even actually cancelled them. I actually went into my account and cancelled them proper just last week.
Who knows with them. I've even gotten emails from them apologizing for not shipping a steel whose street date was over a month away!
 
Just received my 3rd E-mail saying sorry we haven't delivered you your Punisher (2004) steelbook, and yet it is still listed on their website for £12.99, I'm also getting the same message's for other steel's I ordered at the same time, the most annoying being that 22 Jump Street arrived last week but my 21 Jump Street is unavailable at the moment due to 'locating difficulties'....

Wow did you guys not message them? Luckily this has only happened once with me and they had more stock so they sent me another. With these out of stock they will just offer a refund. :(
 
And the Good luck just keeps on coming. Yesterday my HDN exclusive #2 was undeliverable as addressed. I was hoping it would come today. But instead I got this:

This is actually not their fault....I'm sure they would never send something like that. I actually think it is to do with specific sorting and mailing depots. I have never had something this bad before *touch wood*:beaver:
 
I've slowly started to get items that were missing in my Marvel Z Box but they sent me the Film Magazine instead of the Comic I actually am missing <sigh>

The strangest thing though they gave me the Film Magazine and included one Blackjack sweet and 7 Extra Strong PG Teabags......I don't understand lol

I rarely have any issues with Zavvi shipping. I feel like they have sorted out their shipping problems as best they can.

But this one just didn't make it :(
 
My order (The Incredibles & A Bug's Life) no received, I wait 30 days but still nothing, finally Zavvi sent a PDF document to sign......
I still want them but it is not available...
 
Has terminator 2 steelbook actually been released but people aren't recieving it or has it's release been put back?
 
Have nothing good to tell about zavvi.

They offer free tracked delivery to germany when orders are over 75 GBP.

But they send them all untracked. My last 20 Orders were all over 75 GBP and i have checked the tracked delivery options but as i said, they send it untracked. ALL OF THEM!
I have a doctors office in house with many patients (strangers). Many steelbooks are missing, because german post put these parcels simply in the hallway, or on the stairs. The patients or any other can take them away. Happened many times now and i have told zavvi that many times too. That is the reason why i always choose tracked delivery!

Once they have noticed, that these prefabricated answers wont work, they told me, that from this warehouse, where the last order comes from, no tracked delivery is possible. But my 20 last orders where send untracked. Are they stored all in the same warehouse? If yes, why do you still offer this "free tracked delivery", because you have to know where which steelbook is stored, i told them.

And why can you send tracked from warehouse A but not from warehouse B. Sorry, this is ridiculous. And that i want a solution for this, because the tracked delivery is part of our contract. Also i have asked them, why they are faking their customers.

Guess what they did today? They have deleted my account! That is the way zavvi handles customers who asked too much

So please beware!
