Current packaging is a cardboard mailer with the steelbook usually wrapped in either a layer of bubble wrap or foam

I now have confirmation that I can announce ... for all those worried about future packaging from Zavvi. My Play contact has been working with zavvi as well on this mission for better packaging. Between the 3 of us and the future comments from this community after its in place I'm sure it will be go over well.

you cannot change shipping addresses on existing orders unfortunately.. I know, I tried. Had to cancel then re order.

Well that is beyond stupid, what happens if you move house before the item is shipped? I've just sent Zavvi a very strongly worded email to sort this out for me, so far I am very unsatisfied with their service. Hopefully these Zavvi exclusives will move to amazon sooner or later...

How far ahead are pre-orders, a few months at most. Surely you will know that far in advance that you are going to be moving house and may need to find an alternative address to send to in the mean time?

Dunno, people that rent sometimes are only given a short amount of time to get their bags packed anyway that's besides the point not being able to change your delivery address for whatever reason is stupid!!

I'm not sure is this the right place I can post about this so sorry if it is wrong place. I would like to ask for advice

I was ordered 4 steelbooks from zavvi and one of themcI decided to cancel after a few hours, but the system said "can't cancel because it is well packed and ready to dispatch" actually it is ok for me. It is 10 days already I got 3 out of 4 steelbook from my order accept thecone that I decided to cancel before. I have checked my inbox and notice that I don't reveive dispatch email of this steelbook and they already charged me.

What should I do? Anyone have face this problem before? I have sent them query and it is a day already with no reply

You are right, people plan ahead when they move, but what if zavvi changed the release date like Indiana Jones. Many people including me move during summertime and zavvi postponed Indiana Jones from June to October. I will leave out of country in August and have to forward it to my friend and he will mail it to me. What a waste of time and money!

Out of curiousity, does Zavvi Outlet and The HUT use the same packaging for Steelbooks as Zavvi's main site?

They are all the same company after all yes?

My steel from Zavvi Outlet came in their steelbook packaging. Not sure about The Hut orders though mate

My first order from Zavvi was a great experience! Ordered Avatar on the 13th, email confirmation of shipment on the 14th & received on the 20th! UK to USA order to delivery in 7 days! Hope they all are this smooth!!

Actually I have orerd Zavvi many time, but just for this one I haven't receive any dispatch confirm email and it isn't arrived yet after 10 days while in the account summary said it as dispatched

Well Zavvi finally removed their thumb from their arse hole and replied to my enquiry about changing the delivery address on my orders and even they themselves cant do it. What a complete and utter fail of a company

Welcome for the club. They keep saying they cannot change my order and I have to cancel and reorder it. How can I reorder something sold out long time ago??
