from the moment they went live I was trying on my phone using the app and the website, then when I got home from work was trying on my phone and PC. Took about an hour, had to constantly refresh and when I eventually got to pick my seat there was about 10 seats left! Luckily got a seat in the back row. Seeing it a Luxe Cinema with Isense 2D

I think it's safe to say between that and the last actual trailer the line from the Russo's about only footage from the first 15 minutes of the film would be shown is BS

That latest preview has got me both more hyped and disappointed that they couldn't have kept that footage a secret until the film itself :(

Lol yeah, I think the majority of stuff that they say is BS to be honest. I find it kinda wrong that they're purposely misleading folks by editing the trailers with footage that's not actually in the final film though... and honestly, I can't believe it's even legal!

Yeah, getting tickets to see this film was nightmarish. Going to see this twice in one day. Managed to get two tickets (with good seats) to the double bill 4DX 3D (Infinity War & Endgame) on Wednesday at Leicester Square (midnight showing for Endgame) quite easily. The odeon website for the BFI IMAX was hell. The website kept on crashing (kept getting the 503 Error page), but in the end after like 4/5 hours of trying, managed to get tickets (quite good seating tbh) for the 4pm show at Waterloo BFI IMAX in 3D. Did not have a problem getting tickets for Infinity War, so this tells me this film is gonna have a huge opening weekend (hopefully )

The secret was to do it via the Odeon App. Saw someone mention it on Twitter after I gave up on the website and I managed to order straight away using it

Press Release
AMC Theatres® (NYSE:AMC), the largest theatrical exhibitor in the United States and the world, today announced that AVENGERS: ENDGAME is AMC’s new U.S. first-day presale record holder, exceeding STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS by approximately 50%. On the first day on-sale in the United States, AMC sold more than three times more tickets to AVENGERS: ENDGAME than it did for AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR on its first day of ticketing.

In fact, on April 2, AMC sold more tickets in the United States on day one for AVENGERS: ENDGAME than it did for the first day on-sale for all four of these movies COMBINED: AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR, CAPTAIN MARVEL, BLACK PANTHER and STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI.

When AVENGERS: ENDGAME tickets went on sale Tuesday morning, Avengers fans assembled, and they did so in unprecedented numbers on AMC’s website and mobile app. As guests raced to grab their opening weekend tickets, the traffic on AMC’s website and mobile app was approximately 10 times higher than normal, and double AMC’s previous record. This caused the AMC servers to come to a halt. The AMC website and mobile app are back online, and AMC sincerely apologize for any inconvenience or frustration this delay caused.

Despite the record-shattering first day ticket sales, there are millions of tickets still available at AMC for the opening weekend of AVENGERS: ENDGAME, which opens April 26. Guests can find showtimes and purchase tickets at amctheatres.com and on the AMC mobile app.

What are we thinking? First ever $300-million domestic opening for a film? :OMG:

Was hoping to see this in Imax but NO... only in 3D Imax which sucks massive danglies, so will have to wait and see if it appears somewhere on a big-ish screen in 2D.

Wrong thread for this but seeing as its Marvel...

I'm going to see Infinity War at midnight on the release day before the release day before the release day and it will be the first showing ever in the whole wide world and its imax and i'll be first in the queue to beat everybody and i'm in the best seats and i've got free upgrade and also have VIP status and will get free posters and cardboard stands and free drinks and food and then at the exact moment the film ends (post credits scene of course) I will come on here and tell everybody how good it is before they've seen it and make sure everybody knows i've seen it before them. I'll also attempt to discuss it in spoiler tags. Then i'll go see it again the following day. The end.

Sorry guys, I just wanted to get it in before others do but it's all BS of course... i'm going the 28th.
