I just came from one of my local Target stores. All 2D's were gone and I took the last 3D copy.

I went back during lunch to try to get more 3Ds for the GB but they said even though 4 were in stock they were on the floor. I think she may have been to lazy but I couldn't spend too much time, and my other local target didn't get any, sorry andy

no worries, we'll roll with what we get, pretty sure I'll be set on 2D.

lol - if I knew the 3D was THIS limited, I would have stayed home or something - as it is, I carpool to work, so kinda hard to get the other guy to follow my schedule.

Did not find any 2D copies in store had to order from Website. 3D I found a few seems like the 3 stores I went to had 3 maybe 4 tops they had Spider-wraps. Again they had a small meeting in the media section @8am (do that crap at 7:30-7:50am). Didn't stop me to tell the manager to stop using these spiderwraps atleast on Tuesday's release days.

Some kid about 18-21 did walk up right behind me as I was grabbing the H&G and a OZ and grabbed the rest of the OZ must of had 14+ and walked up and paid for them.

Wow I can't believe the incredible price for 2D version. Hopefully my US buddy can get me a copy and then ill probably cancel my UK Steel as its a huge price difference.

Some Good news/ Bad news for us Canadians... Target Canada also got this!!!

My store only had 2D versions. BUT they were $24.99 each.

So hopefully this means for any future exclusive Target releases, The north will get them as well.

^ I wonder if that was why this was very limited in stores. I still think Employee's stashed some for friends or themselves atleast the 2D copies my stores all said they had stock when I checked online and none did. Again it was not a Dark Knight Rise's release where my store had 50-80 but still figured we all get 10+ of each in the store's.

So I have not read all of todays post but I ran into some trouble.


First off I was their before the store opened. Once I got inside ZERO 2D digibooks. So I grabbed 2 3d's one for me and one for my brother. They obviously rang up at a higher price I had a target ad and handed it to them. They told me it must be a different version I said ok please show me where its at and Ill gladly take it. They hand me the "regular release" and say here its this one.I said no look at the picture in the ad thats not it. They responded well you cant have that version. I said ok please get your manager for me. Explained the situation and the manager agreed to let me get them for the $13 price because the 2d version does not exist. I said ok if it doesnt then why is a cover shown in the ad its false advertisement and their was nothing posted about it being a "price error" yet. He said I could only have the 2 and they would be posting a sign after I pointed it out ....

Im happy I got the movie.

The digibook looks really nice, the embossing looks sweet! I just hope there's enough of the 3D versions to go around.
