the delivery of these steelbooks seems to be terrible. Why can't you just send them all together like you said! Don't release so many if you can't get organised...one at a time with a different release date or something!

God help them if they one day decide to ship worldwide

I think that's why the don't ship worldwide, more of a issue as it can be :hilarious:

Give them a break :D

The release date is 06/08/2012. Its also "free" delivery.

So far, Play.com, created a cracking Steelbook, brought the release date forward, sent items out in advance, safely package everything, stuck an address label on it, passed it to their courier (Royal Mail) after that, it's out of their control.

I don't have any of mine, but thats 100% down to Royal Mail. Bizzarley, I sent 2 games out at 5.30 for last pick up from the mail box on Wednesday & both were delivered on Thursday morning.

I'm desperate to get my hands on this too, but it's by no way or shape Plays fault that I don't have it.

As has been said on the other thread, it says 3-5 working days.

since you put it like that i apologise to play.com :hilarious:

I'm just eager...i would have paid for express delivery to guarantee their safe arrival.

I think we are all desperate for this one, well those who managed to pre-order & still don't have it.

I genuinly can't think of a time I've been more excited about something arriving in years. I think it was probably SF2 on the Snes about 20 years ago!

Got mine today (along with a copy of other titles) ahead of my IM1s which was dispatched 12hrs earlier :wtf:
To my surprise arrived in small box with no padding  Luckily no damage.
Wondering if Play ran out of their usual packaging ?!?

Oh no, not another 'Iron Man' Play.com disaster waiting to happen. :( Mine's in transit. It better arrive in one piece. In a padded box :ohno:

I only really ordered this for completeist's sake, never really liked the amaray art and was disappointed when I saw the steel would be the same but if it's atall possible I think I prefer this one more than the IM one? The metal really adds an extra dimension to the suit, awesome!

Both my copies are damaged in some way. 1 copy has 2 dents to the top left corner (front and back parts of the steel) yet is fine inside. My other copy has a faint scratch on the back and really bizarrely some orange 'marks' on the paint on the inside in 3 places. Arrrgghhh!

Can't even mix n' match them either. I do have 1 last copy but that is for my buddy in the US - it looks mint but is still sealed.
