Sorry friend. I should have checked this thread again but the order has been placed. Perhaps you can check with Wreck. Also I think they only allow 1 title per order. Strange that they allowed me to place another order with pretty much the same titles as I thought they were limiting copies per household.

You just ordering a few from amazon.co.jp? You'll probably escape without much trouble. If anything, Fed Ex likes to charge you a processing fee...let's say $20 or so. The actual duty paid to the USA is something like $5...
BUT, if you're ordering maybe 3-4 steelbooks (less than 10) you probably won't get hit at all.
So I'm assuming not.

I just started getting into Steelbook blu rays but I live in US and I can't find a lot of then in stores or they are way too expensive but I see Canada, UK and Japan have some awesome looking covers. My question is can I watch them without any problems or besides the writing been in other language is there any other difference.
Depends on the studio and sometimes even comes down to the title. Like The Twilight Saga: The Story So Far (Triple Limited Edition) from the UK is region locked has 3 different movies and 2 out of 3 are locked to region B. and typically Warner and paramount are region free. While you're just starting, maybe invest in a region free player to avoid issues. Region free players

If U have a multizone/region free bluray player then U sorted as some of these (UK/France/Germany etc) will be region locked for Europe only and won't work on an ordinary US BD player/PS3, but others would like releases from Canada, before purchasing anything just check if it's region free disc (or at least Region A in Ur case)...

R A/1: The Americas (except Greenland), and their dependencies, East Asia (except mainland China and Mongolia), and Southeast Asia.
R B/2: Africa, Middle East, Southwest Asia, Europe (except Belarus, Russia and Ukraine), Australia, New Zealand, and their dependencies.
R C/3: Central Asia, East Asia (mainland China and Mongolia only), South Asia, Eastern Europe (Belarus, Russia and Ukraine only), and their dependencies.

No it is not further delayed. The email as translated states the change in the delivery date not the release date. It might look odd at first but given Amazon.JP's track record of very fast delivery, that delivery date range is about right. If there is indeed another delay, it could very well be the start of WWIII
i heard everything out of Japan is charged excessive custom fees if so i am staying away from everything.
Not true. Smaller orders - 5 steels or so won't be charged.
The most excessive charge would not be the duty paid to the US, but rather the processing fee to FedEx...but anyone ordering just this wave likely won't have an issue.
someone on another site ordered 2 items from amazon and got raped by DHL.
guess we will find out next month
