Hopefully we do get a Beauty and the Beast steelbook from them soon. It's definitely up there as one of the greatest animated films of all time, and amazingly, it's still incredibly popular amongst the younger crowd. My youngest daughter is 5 years old, and for the past two Halloweens, she's wanted to dress up as Belle, though something tells me she, and a bunch of other kids, will want to be the princess from Frozen this year haha.

Apparently, Spain, Italy and Greece are getting rereleases of Snow White and Beauty and the Beast this year for some reason.

The main reason I'm not keen on a Tarzan release (other than the fact I'm not a fan) as that they'll end up putting the defective disc in it.

Even the supposed fixed version isn't great. The flickering is still there, just a lot less obvious than is was first time round.

Adding more big name Disney classics would be a bit predictable and boring in my opinion. Robin Hood was nice to see and Black Cauldron would be too. Another Live Action Disney film being included is probably not happening, but one of these would be nice to see.

Return to Oz
Flight of the Navigator
Honey i shrunk the kids
Popeye
20,000 Leagues Under the Sea

I'd imagine they're just working their way through all of the classic titles.

They release what's not vaulted, probably starting with what Disney know/think are the best-selling titles. Of course Disney are thinking about what will sell, they're a business, what do we expect? Zavvi will agree for the same reasons.

Until such time as Disney steelbooks stop selling and Zavvi have to sell them at a loss, I imagine we'll get a few more if not all (currently 53, including Frozen, UK classics) in steelbooks.

In fact, I wouldn't be surprised to see Melody Time and Fun & Fancy Free etc. be Zavvi steelbook exclusives only for the first few months of release before general amaray releases.

I understand their mentality. I just think its getting predictable and boring.

Fantasia didnt appear to sell very well. Melody time and Fancy Free might see the same fate.
