I think that even if they produce 5 or 6000 copies, the value will remain because of how hot it will be. Is there another steelbook that can compare in awesomeness? The front, back, and inside art are all epic. Plus it's a highly awaited new transfer. I'm pumped for this. Can't wait to get it in-hand.

So it's not limited at all. Great. I think its pretty much guaranteed that the number of copies will increase. Once the eBay rip off merchants have got their 4000 copies each ordered, they'll have no choice but to increase the run for 'collectors'. I don't agree with the whole 'more collectors' point. Anyone with a brain will already have their pre-order in or made arrangements to get it.

+1 :ass:

The amount that is getting talked about is so minimal that in all honesty no one would have noticed had I not mentioned it. Some of you are getting worked up over nothing. Just trust in me now, like you did before ;) There is actually a chance that the limit may not even be allowed to increase, and if it does increase we're not talking thousands more. Keep in mind, retailers like to hold X copies back to deal with damages and other things ...

So for all 4k copy steels out there that we know of; trust that there is not 4k copies existing in pristine condition. Unstoppable Japan and Faster Germany both lay claim to 4k copies ... So there is probably really only 3800-3950 in good condition.

It is limited, because its the only Terminator SteelBook with 1) inside art chosen by us and 2) premium finishes.

Yeah, I know of a steelbook that got over 180k printed and was NOT a videogame. So a 5k or less steel is still gonna be uber limited.

That statement alone is enough for me to buy it, hell the announcement of T1 on steelbook is more than enuff :hilarious:

Akira anyone:D was "supposedly" low quantity and then it was raised to a ridiculous amount. That's why they're so many and cheap. But I don't know which one Wreck is talking about.

I don't think Akira was that ridiculous. I'm also intrigued to know which release it is.

I don't think it would be Hanna, that seems to have gone up in price recently, was £17.99 everywhere a month or so ago, but not now.
My guess would be The Expendables (UK)

users in Canada have been saying their local Future Shops have tons of them for under $20. Lots of them on ebay, too.

It has to be Scarface. Like every Blu-Ray retailer had some of those for sale.

I'm not allowed to say what it was .... but its not hard to guess. :) And it has been guessed.
