different timeline or not, Skynet should be intelligent enough to send more than a single Terminator to patrol the streets of LA. It should be able to recognize that it's capable of overwhelming numbers and has nearly unlimited resources. It shouldn't believe that giving Marcus a human conscious & emotion is a good idea....not unless they were able to hijack him when the time is opportune, which they couldn't or didn't for some random reason.

and than there's the giant Transformer Terminator. It's able to run in absolute silence but when it's attacking humans it becomes the loudest friggin thing ever to come off the Skynet Assembly Line.

but to each their own. There are some really cool scenes in TS. And it's a great example of SFX. You can really showcase your sound system with it.

WHAT!!!! you gotta watch 1 and 2 those are classic movies 3 & Salvation wouldn't make any sense if you didn't watch the first 2 movies. I for one loved Salvation just watched it the other day on Blu ray and had forgotten how awesome that movie sounded

yeah i gotta watch them for sure. Actually they did make sense even though I hadn't seen the 1st and 2nd because I read about the storlylines of all the Connor's/Reese's and terminators. I love, love Terminator Salvation but to each there own I guess. Too bad another follow up movie wasn't made to Terminator Salvation as technically it was a financial success albeit not the biggest financial success (budget 200 mil, total made close to 400 mil).

I heard they were thinking of Paul Walker as the next Kyle Reese if another Termi movie is made... I think he's perfect for the role. I know in early 2011 the rights to the Terminator franchise were auctioned off for about 20 mil to Annapurna Films who now owns the rights to make the next two movies for the Terminator franchise. So it will be interesting to see what happens with that.

I personally think the should have made Terminator 3 to end at the start of Terminator, That way they wouldn't have been able to ruin the series with crappy terminator ROTM and Salvation! Rant over "I'll be back" still one of the best quotable lines in movies in movies!

"i'm back!" - Expendables 2. Look out for it!
"I am unable to comply" remains the funniest part of any terminator film for me..

Personally, I think salvation gets back to pure, dark hardcore story telling like this first installment. That much I admire. Plot is just wierd though, too similar to I'Robot!

FYI-the embossed version with HDN voted artwork will only appear at Play UK as Wreck already mentioned. If the exact same version should appear elsewhere they are being purchased through Play's webiste. Lesser versions without special finish, different inside artwork and with no special finish could appear elsewhere.

Anyone want to take a guess on how many over 4,000 will be made? It will not be thousands more was a comment, so are we talking in the hundreds? If we are talking greater than that, then does a few more mean another 3,000?
