Just got mine :).

Overall it's a very vice looking steelbook but I can't help feeling that a glossy appearance like the recent Iron Man's would made this even better.

Also, is it me or is the quality of the inside picture rather hazy & low quality :(

yeah the pic art inside doesn't exactly look of the highest quality but the rest is great and that doesn't bother me anyway, how often do u look at the inside.

I will say this, I don't like the menu system, it goes straight into playing the film, and for some reason the extras play on a small screen like they were made for picture in picture, but that option is nowhere to be seen. Also no commentary.

That's what I do! I already have the Terminator anthology set (US), so I don't need to open my steelbook to watch it on Blu-ray!

From what I have read this has a new transfer, the US set has the old transfer

Yep, a new transfer that's leaps ahead of the previous US Blu Ray.

It's especially noticeable on the future flashback scene near the end of the movie. The old US Blu Ray is absolutely riddled with lots of black flecks of dirt whereas the new transfer is stunningly clean - with grain still intact I hasten to add :)

Think we may owe some play.com staff an apology. I know for a fact that these slashed spines are not 100% from retailers.

Explain this, how come my Terminator copy has a slashed spine? Slashed when the cardboard slip was placed over the slash mark AND the slip and seal have zero marks......

Something must be happening at the manufacturing process too, it's not just staff opening boxes causing every slash.

Thankfully I ordered a spare just in case something like this happened (why should we have to do that?). I'll be sending this back unless anybody wants it (see my trade thread shortly).

Anyhow, here are some pics.
