This thread is dedicated to talking about the McFarlane "The Walking Dead" figures (and statues). There's someone very well connected in this thread. ;)

Thanks @spawnshop :) I owe you dinner again. ;)

Thanks everyone else for being a member of Hi-Def Ninja! ;) We appreciate your comments here.

And I agree a bearded 10 inch Rick would be pretty rad. Especially with the resurgence of beards, I'm sure a lot of casual consumers would pick that guy up in stores. ;)

Picked up Series 7 Exclusives TV figs of TWD!!! Already have in my pile of Loot series 7.5 Rick and Flu walker, that'll complete series 7 figs!!!
@spawnshop.......I said I wasn't going to collect these anymore but they are my Drug:D they keep coming out better and better. Already PO series 8 and the next wave of Comic series along with Morgan With Zombie......my poor Wallet:/

Flu Walker is AMAZING. Like my favorite Walker ever, right up there with the Riot Gear Walkers.

@spawnshop - Any chance of additional generic Walkers to fill out our herds?

It seems like the head, torso and hands were resculpted for Flu...and it's enough to make him awesome. Other generic bodies that seemed like they could be tooled into generic dead folks are S6 Rick, S8 Bob, S4 Andrea, S7 Gareth.

It's been discussed, but nothing concrete at the moment. We're told by our sales team that walkers sell far less than the human figures, so you'll probably only see one walker per series.
Yes, we've rescuklpted his head, torso, hands, feet and hip accessories to make him as different from the orignal Glenn sculpt as possible.

@spawnshop thanks for your answers on Walking dead figures!!

I saw from the photos at SDCC that Morgan had his "bloody outfit" as the single figure and
in the "Spiker trap box set" he had Clean clothes. Is this what we get now? I saw many retailers onlines
still has Morgan with bloody outfit in the box set. Did you change this?

Thanks / norman11

Something's been annoying me since McF announced the GoT license for these sets. Funko have the license for POP and 7 inch figures.

Spawnshop - are you completely unable to make any figures at all for the moment? Or can you make your own in the same scale as TWD? I know I asked already but the thought is too awesome to ignore.

At the moment, we only have the license for the GOT construction sets.

@spawnshop - So is the license for the GoT figures something you guys might be interested in acquiring down the line if the opportunity presented itself? Because man I couldn't give you my $$$$$$ FAST ENOUGH!!! Funko's figures were awful. Terrible QC with the first series and they smelled like skunk. They improved with S2 but that company just doesn't make REAL figures a priority. I would **** a brick to have GoT figures in scale with TWD figures!!! Please, please, please! Also push for a Teddy Bear Girl. Thanks!!! <3

I believe it's something we as a company would be very interested in. :)

As for TBG - forget it. Never going to happen. We've asked several times, but were told we were not able to make this figure. Not sure the full story on it, maybe a licensing issue or something. But we've definitely asked many times. Sorry guys.....

@spawnshop

Thanks for all your great answers. Bummer about TBG. My assumption is that AMC doesn't want dead kid action figures in the toy aisle or something. Perhaps the Breaking Bad figure scandal has left AMC a little sensitive.

Question: In light of TBG not being allowed in the main line...I know we asked last year: Have you guys considered a McF/AMC Collector's Club similar to Skybound? 6 figures or so a year? Either a subscription, or just up on your website for major holidays sorta like Skybound does?

I reckon McFarlane would do a better job of GoT than Funko. For one thing the figures will be more affordable, less prone to breaking and better customer service.
My hound figure broke cos of bad joints and Funko refused to replace it despite it being a production fault.

@spawnshop - Do you guys have a thing set up for replacements? My comic Dwight broke at the hip swivel. :( If not I think I might be able to repair it.

Also Comic Series 4 is ridiculously amazing in hand especially that Pincushion Zombie. Can't wait to see news on Series 5. I'd love to have the next zombie or any zombie down the line have a sliced diagonally at the torso action feature.

Try contacting our customer service....we've sent replacement parts/figures before, but I'm not up to date on what our policy is.

As for WDC5, the new line-up just hit my desk today! You guys are going to love it!
