I agree though that the 3D lenticular will likely be an entirely different image and will likely have more layers of depth to it than just a house, balloons, blue sky, and some clouds.

Having lived in S.E.Asia for 6 years (Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Philippines) I can verify that in those countries (and also China) they do not stick to deadlines like we do in occidental countries. They release when they release. I've seen shopping malls in BKK open a year after the agreed opening date. Whenever I asked someone in Thailand when a movie was being released I was told tomorrow, let me tell you tomorrow never comes.
On a different note, what exactly is the finish of this release? It doesn't look glossy to me. It looks like that thick semi matte finish. (The finish that I like most BTW)

You`re complete right Mate,Lived in Thailand for two Years ,too( almost 25 Years ago)-almost forgot that this is part of their mentality. They always take it easy when it comes to deadlines. It`s not like we in Europe
handle things. In Germany a deadline is a deadline,basta. No backing up .

I would say 100% it will be Region Free. Its coming from China and they are Region C.
