To keep this list more manageable, it will be restricted to releases that are upcoming, and the releases for the current day.

Wherever possible, I will link the title to its associated thread on this forum.

If the title is exclusive to a particular retailer, I will list that retailer after the title.

Please feel free to reply to the post with ones that I have missed and I will update the OP

Identifying region codes

I have only been buying steels for about 3 months now. I never think to look on sites like HMV for region codes. I have been looking on sites but they don't state it. I have been lucky so fa, all were region free. Would it make sense to put a region code on the release schedule? Unless it's there and I missed it. Thanks

Hey Ricker. May not be a bad idea. Sometimes it's difficult though to exactly pin point region coding on an upcoming release. A good tip to remember is that studios like WB, Universal, and Sony are typically region free. If you're buying a Fox title for example, chances are it's going to only play in the region it was sold, that is unless you have a region free player. Hope that helps you out ;)

Ricker, fyi it's something that is being worked on for "The List" but there is only one foolproof method and that is actually testing every disc on every region player. As darc said there are a few givens, but then they throw a curve ball every so often. It has been known for a disc marked A,B,C to be only playable on a B player for instance.

As a general rule, things particular to each release have been kept in each thread. We're working on consolidating that information in another format, but we have to build the infrastructure for that.

In order to keep the list above concise (given the amount of releases announced all the time), we've just kept it simple and allowed for the links to direct you to more info about each release.
