Current packaging is a cardboard mailer with the steelbook usually wrapped in either a layer of bubble wrap or foam

I now have confirmation that I can announce ... for all those worried about future packaging from Zavvi. My Play contact has been working with zavvi as well on this mission for better packaging. Between the 3 of us and the future comments from this community after its in place I'm sure it will be go over well.

1/19/2013 Member Nyvo tweeted Zaavi about packaging concerns. They said they may be looking into alternate packaging methods.

Selfishly forgets there's life outside the UK. Doesn't give two ***** for anyone outside of there :rolleyes:

Im just saying the packaging is perfect for uk to uk orders. If you live outside the uk then its a risk you have to take. The packaging is doing its job well.

Im talking about the packaging....its doing the job perfectly. Zavvi are far from perfect :thumbs:
 
of all the things to complain about re: zavvi's steels, "too much" embossing is not something i have a problem with at all. I love embossed steelbooks :)

I just wish they would also put heavy gloss on them too, cause imo the only thing better than a embossed steelbook, is a glossy embossed steelbook :thumbs:

I have now replied to Zavvi 4 different times, asking them to actually read my complaint. None of their 4 replies has anything to do with my questions. Now they tell me I paid with paypal so they can not cancel it. I never used Paypal for Zavvi. What idiots. Maybe they should actually respond to my concerns instead of trying to figure out what auto response best fits my email.

Concur. Love embossed steelbooks too. I don't know why they don't do more glossy steels either. We got Town & Argo with emboss/deboss & high gloss. And it seems they can now even afford to off load them at £9.99!

I get the exact same mate. If I haven't received a reply to my email by lunch time today, I'm going to call them and give them what for. I knew their CS was bad, but now they are taking the piss
 
Well that batch was a disaster from Zavvi. All 10 items sent on one day last week. Received 5 on Saturday (one damaged) and the other 5 have not arrived yet! Very strange as I normally get things on a Saturday if they are sent on a Wednesday. Getting very worried :(

Requested cancellation of a couple of steelbooks from orders I had used a voucher on and received confirmation a couple days later.

The other steelbooks in the same order(s) remain with discount still applied. Pretty efficient to be honest :thumbs:
