Current packaging is a cardboard mailer with the steelbook usually wrapped in either a layer of bubble wrap or foam

I now have confirmation that I can announce ... for all those worried about future packaging from Zavvi. My Play contact has been working with zavvi as well on this mission for better packaging. Between the 3 of us and the future comments from this community after its in place I'm sure it will be go over well.

Hi Ronnie,

I agree whole heartedly about Zavvi's appparent fragmentation. Seriously long gone time they go their act together; and if they did, I'm sure their sales would rocket as belief returned to the buying public.
Surely someone in their hierachy must know that?!

p.s. Where is the stretching on V for Vendetta. Mine's stil unopened, but there's nothing apparent.

They must make enough money for themselves and the studios for them to have a near endless supply of exclusives. Would sales increase if the company was acting as a cohesive unit? Yes it probably would but this would involve restructuring which would cost money and they would appear to be rescind to spend any on their customers.

The 'stretching' was on the corners and appears to be an unfortunate by-product of the glossing process. There are numerous pictures in the V for Vendetta thread.

A while back (I would estimate about a month ago), all Reward Points were taken away from everyone's accounts. Although some people had quite a few points saved up, all were taken away.

I have to say I'm so happy they've switched back to the white boxes. I've recently received 2 that had a ding in the packaging, something that would've definitely gone through to the steel in those cardstsock mailers.

Both steelbooks were fine

Instead of Temple of Doom I received an extra Last Crusade yesterday. I saw that customs had opened the package. Could it be that they switched my Steelbook with an Indy Steel of someone else?

Ghostbusters 2 has been despatched and received by most of us today. The only other 2 that I ordered are Army of Darkness and Sin City, neither of which have been charged or despatched yet.

Waiting to be told that they've been pushed back.

I've got The Graduate, Mulholland Drive, Army of Darkness, Sin City and The Pianist all supposed to arrive. None have had the payment taken yet.

Inferno and Phenomena have been postponed. The steels being released on Monday 8th are: The Pianist, Mulholland Drive, The Graduate, Ghostbusters II, Sin City and Army of Darkness.

With the other two being taken off the 'OUT MONDAY' list, hopefully the others will be dispatched soon...

I may be moving in November and have Guardians Of The Galaxy on pre-order so am worried I might miss out on it.
