Current packaging is a cardboard mailer with the steelbook usually wrapped in either a layer of bubble wrap or foam

I now have confirmation that I can announce ... for all those worried about future packaging from Zavvi. My Play contact has been working with zavvi as well on this mission for better packaging. Between the 3 of us and the future comments from this community after its in place I'm sure it will be go over well.

Their new packing is good but after the switch to new packing, yesterday I received my MI2 copy and there was a small dent on the front, near the spine.

Maybe the new packing is not a good as I first hoped. All the other steels came in perfect condition though..

I have recently received both Seven Psycopaths and Zombieland in the new packaging, though it looks a bit different to the ones in the photos. It is really thin, but well padded. I love it more than the Play.com packaging because it can fit through my front door letter box easily, so I do not have to be in when it is delivered.

Quick question: What happens when you cancel a part of an order which is using a discount code? Will the system recalculate automatically? I am just asking because I don't want my whole order get cancelled in the end because of whatever reason/error.

The coupon does not work that way. Once you use the coupon you cannot cancel a part of an order. You have to cancel the whole order. If you have a slightest chance to cancel any item in the order you should not use the coupon.

Got my first order ever from Zavvi today. Was in the new packaging but the box got hit bad in one corner and of course the spine of the steel is destroyed. Makes me nervous since I've got two more steels on the way from them.

How is the return process with them? I really don't want to go through the hassle of having to return this steel to get another one.

Email them and say you want to return the item.
But they are slow at answering emails, they still take 1-2 days to reply

The new titles will come in better packaging

The packaging is not the problem, because as you can see in the pics, it was simply great but the steelbook they sent me was a defect item and NOT SEALED!!! So why did they protect a damaged item

Aladdin will definitely be back online or available from zavvi outlet a few days before the release date as Roger rabbit was.

Since Zavvi seem to be acquiring a few Warner exclusives, I wonder if they will be getting the LOTR Extended Editions?

Also - any news on Indiana Jones release dates? Was hoping to get these in June (unlike everyone else)

hey guys, I have a question for you !

After 21 days without a sign of my "scott pilgrim" steelbook ordered on zavvi.com, I sent them a message yesterday

They replied "I am really sorry to hear that you have not received this. The order was sent to you on 02/04/13 and I would have expected it to have arrived by now.

I will investigate this with our courier provider but in the meantime I am more than happy to arrange a replacement for you. We will send you an e-mail as soon as it is dispatched."

But I received my steelbook today ... What am I supposed to do ? Keep the replacement when it will arrive ?
