When I pre-order, I put aside the cost into a different account, so in effect I've already paid for it. Make's it less of a hit when bulk releases come along.

Too many in one month now for me so gonna have to give some the chop will keep lion king and beauty and the beast and cancel the rest
Zavvi may have been rubbing there hands together for a good month but I bet they get a hell of a lot of cancelations now

but of course some of the big seller movies would require pre-orderign, just incase.
cant see the likes of Tarzan being in this catagory mind and all the other titles out over the last&this month I already own in steel form

Cancelled Tarzan and Snow White, could not cancel Sleeping Beauty and have not cancelled The Lion King and Beauty and the Beast.
Cancelled every other Zavvi steel preorder as well now as we cannot trust the dates

Me too. I cancelled Beauty and Beast as 5 steelbooks in one day is way too much........ I know it's going to cost me a fortune on ebay next year but I don't have a choice. That's over £100 in two hours. What a joke.......

Might be the smarter choice. Just today I went ahead and added all 14 Disney/Pixar steels that are currently discounted to the cart and added the happy hour code, just to see how much they'd cost, because I already have all of them. It came to 197 EUR. Then I checked the list I keep to see how much I paid for these 14 titles, together it was 288 EUR. Mind you, I bought most of them with a 10% discount code and a few with 20% off. Would have been so much better off had I waited. On the other hand, quite a few titles are already OOS and there was no way of knowing which ones would end up sitting in their warehouse long enough to be so heavily discounted.

What annoyed me was that until only a week ago the titles were saying a release date of 31st December on their site so I assumed they were delaying them. Was not expecting this stunt especially at this time of year.
