See- I think Tarzan is one of the better films, especially for one of the more recent films in the collection. Fantasia is an absolute killer with the back art; think the dismal movie point is all a matter of opinion ultimately, but I'm one of them fools that has to own the whole collection just for the sake of completion...

It's the Phil Collins soundtrack ,just kills it for me

Of the current "Disney Collection" of 30 titles, I have obtained 26. I have intentionally not bothered with the remaining 4 titles for various reasons. "Wreck-It Ralph" and "Planes" because, for me, they lack the magic of Disney at its best. "Mary Poppins" because I just don't like the film and it is, strictly speaking, not an animated feature like the rest of the series but a live action movie with animated sequences. "Frozen" because the artwork doesn't match that of the rest of the collection. I fail to understand why Disney wouldn't allow Zavvi its own unique artwork to match the style of the other titles in the series. Fortunately, I have the Blufans Ultimate Edition of this title as a stand alone addition to the collection.

Having perused a list of Disney animated films, there are, for me, only another 2 titles outstanding which are essential to complete my personal Disney Steelbook collection. The first is "The Sword in the Stone", a classic from the 60's whose omission from the collection is as baffling to me as "Planes" inclusion. The second is "Fantasia 2000" which I need to compliment my copy of the original 1940 version. Although there are other titles which I might consider obtaining if released in the Steelbook format, I could just as easily live without them.

Of greater interest to me would be a Steelbook collection of some of Disney's classic live action movies. The perfect title to start it off would be "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" which already exists in an HD transfer, having been broadcast a few months ago on Film4. Other classic titles could include "Swiss Family Robinson" and the 1950 version of "Treasure Island", famous for Robert Newton's inimitable performance of Long John Silver. There's a vast catalogue of titles to choose from spanning 65 years.

It's just my opinion but I'd rather see a new collection of classic live action movies from Disney than a supplementary collection of the second rate animated ones.

Excellent summary ,glad I'm not alone with the view on planes ! Agree with the live action collection though but that could conceivably stretch a very long way ,one of our dinosaurs is missing and Pete's dragon are two I like along with bed knobs and broomsticks

Sign me up for The Black Hole if it ever gets announced.

With Disney now owning Star Wars, and The Black Hole being their attempt at a space-opera, maybe we'll get one somewhere down the line. Of course, the worrying thing with Star Wars is that while it's bound to get the steelbook treatment, what's the betting it wont have the title on the spine?

I wouldn't say never because it's been shown on BBC2 a few times over the past few years so I don't see any reason why a blu-ray steelbook shouldn't happen. The irony is that Gone with the Wind is way way more racist that Song of the South yet there are never any objections to any home video release of it. Hell We had Birth of a Nation on blu-ray last year and bar Mandingo I can't think of a more racist film.

My DISNEY PIXAR blu ray collection, :D :D 48 OUT OF 54 DISNEY MOVIES :D

Nice collection there.
I also have all the Classic Blu releases which are available between the US and the UK.
Trying to get all releases with slipcover as well.

The Pixar Cars "wheel" where is that from?
Thanks again for sharing

Its a Disney Decision in USA
Its Disney who banned Song of the South getting a uncut Blu ray release unless new management reverse that decision and I cant see Disney UK doing another release as the last time they did a video release was in 1991

Its possible for Disney UK to do a re-release in 2016 for its 70th anniversary but I don't see a steelbook ever happening for this film and even any release happen to be honest
