At last my Disney Zavvi collection will be complete. Now I just need to somehow get my hands on the Blu Fans Frozen and UP.

I have to admit Zavvi's Hercules design is superior to mine.

It is a first time Steelbook release. Lots of people were hungry for it...not so much with Sleeping Beauty and Snow White which both had their Steelbooks released before. Could be?

AFAIK, the titles in the Disney Zavvi steelbook collection, really are only Zavvi exclusives. They're only available from Zavvi if you want these specific designs.

Big Hero 6 has identical (once you remove the J-card) steelbook releases in other territories.

So for example, you can buy The Lion King in a steelbook if you want it looking different, the same with Pinocchio and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. But if you want one that matches Zavvi's The Aristocats or Wreck it Ralph, then you have to buy The Lion King from Zavvi. That said, Frozen doesn't follow this rule, nor does Monster's University in the Pixar range.

Zavvi are (generally) the only UK steelbook retailer for Disney titles, some are available elsewhere in identical cases, others are genuinely Zavvi exclusives and others are part of their Disney collection. As this set includes many Disney animated classics, a live-action/animated classic and Planes there's no real logic to which titles count and which don't or why.

Why Mary Poppins but not Tron? Why Planes but not Into The Woods? Who knows! Why include Planes in the first place?

As I've said in other threads, I don't really see it as a collection so much as just Disney titles. If it was only the animated classics, I'd understand. If they had a Zavvi sticker, I'd understand. Unless someone must own every Zavvi exclusive, I say just get the ones you like. I only buy the animated classics and wouldn't own Planes even if it was given to me.

That is really spot on - Preferably full gloss with the title embossed, and rigging on the back embossed too - but on a flat steelbook -sure they could do it if they upped the gauge a bit.

That artwork is STUNNING. Would love Treasure Planet and for the art for it to be just like that, high gloss, it's a hugely under appreciated film and would be a real addition to the collection with that artwork.

Yeah that figures. I assure you none were used before I posted them. The UK rewards are useless to me. If they are anything like the US codes you can only use one per title so if you have claimed any of these movies before those codes are going to be no good for you.
