It looks like our former thread has become unavailable, so I am posting a new one. Feel free to post pics and share your worst experiences with damaged Steelbooks as received from retailers. I've stickied this one for now.

This is about 2 weeks old now but this is what Royal Mail did to a steel I sold recently.

Already sent off for a claim as I'm out of pocket badly on this. No way this should have been damaged unless someone stood on it although to me it looks like it's been twisted somehow.

Disgraceful condition, could have fallen out one of the pushable cages and a rm worker has pushed a wheel over it.

Received another copy of Jaws today from Amazon. No score line on the spine, but there is another small problem:

Turns out it was repackaged by Yodel, which explains it all really

Yes that's the only good news, Amazon sent me a replacement straight away

Amazon are using those muppets again, I'm amazed you even got it - anything I get delivered by Yodel is normally just chucked over the back fence.

My worst is that the spine is dent, making the whole steelbook disformed when opened.

Got my replacement for Carlitos way as the first one had horrible print errors on the front.The replacement has the same print errors and a lovely big dint.Guess this will also go back and try 3rd time lucky

i got a couple of steelbooks from play.com, when the package arrived one of the corners of it was all dented in, luckily the steelbook has only a tiny paint chip on it.
