oh ok ... wonder why the other guy didn't want to answer...

btw what does "Allocate more stock" mean?

They might have additional because of card declines or returns or just maybe finding a few here or there.

But there were no more printed.

IM 2 was close to being sold out, but not actually sold out when they pulled the listing.

There were no copies of IM 1 left when it was pulled.

Missed all the drama, they really flew out once they came back in. Wonder if IM1 will get a brief stint of back in stock due to declined cards, cancelled orders, etc.

Even if that happens i cant imagine there'll be too many, have to be mad / very unlucky for that to happen

My IM2 order from earlier today is showing as "Awaiting Stock" :ohno:

Just in case anybody else's order status is like mine; "Awaiting Stock" -

From what I've read online, it appears that these orders were placed too late, despite the item showing as "In Stock" at the time.

Apparently, orders can show like this for some time, even months. With others being cancelled by Play.com shortly after.

I'll wait it out and see what happens, but I'm not very hopeful there'll fulfil the order :(

(BTW, I know I quoted my own post ;))

thanks. i remember that from a while back when wreck was getting some heat in the other thread. like how could he know which items would have returns/declines etc. and which wouldn't. (he said something along the lines of "I'm told 100% no chance of new IM allocation like here with IM2").

it did seem kinda shady at the time but i guess if its only a few copies of any given title going back up for sale for a very short period of time, it cant really be considered anything more than declines/returns as you guys said :)

They typically like to hold X amount for returns/exchanges etc. However they couldnt do this with IM1 and I believe many got the email saying only refunds no exchanges. I dont know if you guys got the same route with IM2 but it could simply be that they felt comfortable selling off X amount now of IM2. Of course declines and such play a factor too, so there are a lot of different variables that come into play.

2 copies arrived today. 1 has a floater (loose disc) the other has something under the shrinkwrap that may or not be damaged (almost like a little blob of glue, but impossible to be sure)
i can live with a floater for my copy (i will open it anyway) or a blob of glue, as that will come off when open it. but for my friend who may want to keep it sealed, its bad news.

As have I. Here's hoping it's actually the Steelbook edition and not just a regular Blu-Ray in an amaray case (Play have done something similar like this to me before).
