i'm not sure if it will go through has a friend ordered 2 on the 7th and both got cancelled today.

Maybe an anomoly with the site? It's not there now (as of 1:36am).

I did manage to get an order in last time it went back up live for a short time, but it only ever went to "awaiting stock", and then got cancelled.

Everytime they put them up again the price increases...
maybe that way they try to "compensate" for the refunds

Just managed to place an order from play at £19.99. Not what I wanted to pay considering I'm not too keen on the film but I want all of them in steels (for my little lad of course!)

Play.com increased the price when MI4 went back in stock. Hmv done it recently for both war horse and sherlock holmes they went from £15 to £20 in the shop once it got released!

They should hold the stock of iron man 2 for a few days then once they know the total then put it up for sale rather than a few here and there!
